Submitted by Robyn on Mon, 03/13/2017 - 2:26pmConservatives have been vocal about the need to insure "religious freedom," but it rings rather hollow after we learn that Christian evangelicals believe they are the people most discriminated against in today's world.
That is, of course, just crazy-making.
A Humanist Victory!
Submitted by enhydra lutris on Fri, 12/16/2016 - 5:29pmI just received an e-mail from the American Humanist Association apprising me of the fact that President Obama had signed H.R. 1150, the Frank R. Wolf International Religious Freedom Act, into law. Intended to foster and strengthen religious freedom abroad, it is also the first US law which includes protections specifically for "non-theists, humanists, and atheists."
