Disparate Interests Precipitate Coherent Result

          A funny thing happened at today's protest action. Oregon's Republicans have adopted the tactic of walking off the job to prevent the state's legislative branch from doing its job. So, many of us in various communities have taken to the streets (This is today's protest in Medford.)
