There has been a lot of commentary on the farce of a debate brought to the USA public by the corporate controllers. And a lot of people who either boycotted it, or plain refused to make themselves ill watching it. I tried to watch it after the real debate, which was watched by a bit less than 2000 people who followed the City Council meeting in Charlotte, NC.

I spent Thursday and Friday night watching live feed of the protest in Charlotte and the supporting protests in Atlanta, also following twitter, and FB feeds of supporters of the protests and the general flow of "commentary" on twitter, you-tube and so on. I would like to share my observations:

The rich keep getting richer. That's as old as the hills. Hard to say when the first time that was said, maybe when Grok said it to Gruk. It's not a new thing that's for sure. People used to complain about the Rockefellers, Morgans and Rothchilds back in the day, still do. Now we have the rich, the very rich, the very, very rich, and the very, very fucking rich. Some of them we know, most of them we don't.

A lot of people lately have been commenting on how the anti-Trump protests could hurt Bernie Sanders' election chances. I thought I would share my views on this issue from the perspective of a campaign manager. Caveat: this is not my *moral* opinion on how things are or how they should be. This is my political opinion of the effect of anti-Trump protests on Sanders' electoral viability.
A few points about the situation:
On April 22, 1936, half a million college students nationwide walked out of class for the Third Annual Student Strike Against War.
As impressive as that sounds, it is even more impressive when you consider that in the mid-30's there was less than 1.5 million college students.
