Greeting fellow swampers and those who prefer remaining dry:
This is Harris in South Carolina a few days ago.
In case you're wondering why Joe Biden is running:
This is a Kamala 2020 campaign event on Monday in South Carolina.

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE LEFT
I don't presume to be worthy of a seat at One Pissed Off Liberal's keyboard, damn ... I sometimes wish he hadn't beaten me to that handle, but I share his sense of being tired of being tired thanks to what has become of the liberal politics I used to love. Sometimes words do sound good when a pseudo progressive pretends to "feels your pain." Yet, behind the voices, we've learned to be wary of snake oil salespersons.
Nothing changes that might preempt the dysfunctional status quo.
Where has all the healthy political energy gone? Is it simply the case of a devil's deal with Wall Street or is there more to it than that? Has the last crossroads where we might choose a radical turn worthy of a Mother Jones come and gone? From Where I sit in Louisville, it sounds like ABC Radio National does a better job of exploring these questions than most of what pretends to be doing journalism here at home.
But once upon a time there were truth telling writers in America. Joe Bageant is a good example
What does it mean to be a leftie today? Do you and I have the same goals as the lefties of yesterday? Or has the old ideal of being left changed beyond recognition?
How the worm has turned in less than a month.
Kamobama is the new Bernie!
At least that was the narrative until today.
After Hillary Clinton unexpectedly struggled in the 2016 election with the black vote and the women's vote, Hillary's megadonors met with potential presidential nominee Kamala Harris during a trip to the Hamptons in 2017. Obviously the idea was to double-down on Identity Politics.
Two weeks after Harris announced her candidacy, she sent out this email.
The above-named Senator and Hampton beauty queen pageant contestant, Kamala Harris sent me an email urging support for immigrants. Noble that she supports the oppressed.
I couldn't resist the desire to reciprocate for her desire to relieve burdens of immigrants (which actually is a good cause) which is so at odds with her neoliberal right of center politics. I sent her the following comment:
The Democratic Party establishment has already picked their nominee, so you need to just shut up and fall into line.
If this sounds familiar, it is.
On Feb 17, 2014, Markos informed us that resistance is useless.
So Harris has decided to co-sponsor Medicare-For-All with Sanders.
SnappleBC already called bullshit on this, and I'm not going to disagree with him on most of it.
However, even if her gesture is misdirection, it still isn't meaningless.
You would think that way that the Democratic establishment has viciously smeared the progressive left when they've dared to question Kamala Harris' bona fides, that she would be a shoo-in to win in 2020.
Guess what? There's already been a match-up poll, and Harris didn't impress.
