For engaging and compelling, there's nothing like courtroom drama for me – in reports, books, movies, plays, and television, fiction and non-fiction (including embellished reconstructions), criminal and tort, dramatic and comedic – except for when I was in a jury box and on a witness stand (both are stressful) and I didn't watch one second of the OJ trial and have avoided the all the “Judge Judy” type TV fare.
Because snoopydawg linked us to Craig Murray in an essay yesterday, I happened to see this important commentary.
Murray makes the point that much of the wealth controlling our obscenely corrupt system has come from the pillaging of Russian resources during the Yeltsin period and that the motive for demonizing Putin is to keep that wealth out of the hands of the Russian people.
Those who pay attention to what is going on – as opposed to passively consuming the obsessions of MSM – know that the Clinton-related material published by Wikileaks emerged from leaks, not hacks.
