#Bernie Sanders Political Revolution

A Final Appeal to all the Bernie Supporters Who’ve Joined HER Since Philadelphia

We shared a lot when we took on Hillary Clinton this Spring. I remember in particular the frustration we felt at the character assassination campaign her supporters waged against Bernie and us, that despicable effort which ultimately did succeed in denying him the nomination, a dream which once seemed so promising.

But much has changed since then. I know most of you are now supporting Clinton’s campaign because, in large part, Bernie asked you to do so. I couldn’t persuade myself to follow his recommendation for some reasons I’d like to make clear in this essay.

Can a European Model Help Us Counter the Corrupt Two Party System?

Whether we admit it or not, the political revolution promoted by Bernie Sanders campaign for President has fallen short of its goal electorally, leaving many of us bereft of hope and direction. The fact that the primary was almost certainly stolen by the corrupt machine of the Democratic party, magnifies the sense of drift and compounds the seemingly endless success of the elites in frustrating even our most modest demands for a more just society.

The overall dimensions of the political landscape and the challenges we face

Bernie spoke to his legion of followers last week, telling them he is committed to the ambitious goal of reforming the Democratic Party. It was a clear signal that he is not at this time entertaining any thoughts of simply walking away from it in disgust.

This, of course, is not likely to cheer a good many of his supporters who have come to view the Democratic Party's centrist-dominated establishment with revulsion. And who can blame them?

But there are a number of reasons why I believe Bernie is right to focus The Revolution's efforts on an attempt to reform the Democratic Party and "drive the money-changers from the temple" (if you'll forgive the analogy).

Some analysis of the Sane Debbie vs. Cenk Uygur Perspectives

I found WindDancer13's blog entry this morning very informative re: the current debate among Sanders 'revolutionaries' as to how we ought to be focusing ourselves from this point on.

I can tell you that while I agree with much that Sane Debbie has to say, I actually lean more toward Cenk's take on how Sanders followers might best respond to a Hillary Clinton nomination.

Legend of Bernie Sanders

I wonder what the future will say about this election we're watching. Will it be known as "the years we kicked the can further down the road?" Will it be known as" the years that destroyed America?" Will it be known as " the years of the political revolution?" We don't know yet. But we have the great opportunity to radically change this country, to make history. Will we continue to just settle for crumbs? Will we continue to settle for baby steps toward progress?

Brews for Bernie USA launches

The “Brews for Bernie” event in Boulder Colorado on May 14th at Owsley’s Golden Road was the start of a grassroots movement. And not just focused on Bernie Sanders.

People were stoked about Bernie’s wins and were signing up for shifts to phone bank for Oregon and California, and even signing up to “Journey for Bernie”.

Bernie's Endgame - And Ours

Lee Camp has presented some very compelling evidence that there has been massive, systemic fraud committed in this year's Democratic primary elections to deliver votes to Hillary Clinton and deny them to Bernie Sanders. By the very same metrics used by the US government itself to gauge the integrity of elections in foreign countries, these primaries have been revealed as exercises in cynical and criminal manipulation designed to create the illusion of voter consensus favoring Clinton, irregardless of voters' actual preference. And naturally the corporate media has done everything in its power to assist in this fraud.

The sparrow on Good Friday with Bernie

Bernie Sanders had an omen of significance as a humble sparrow landed in front of Bernie on his podium while addressing a Portland, Oregon audience on Good Friday, 25 March, the last of the 3 holy days before Easter this year 2016.bernie and sparrow1.jpeg

Sparrows may have some symbolism, I don't know for sure, perhaps it means a triumph after a period of suffering.

Want to understand this crazy election? Just follow the money.

Big Media, following the Fox News Fraudcasting model, has driven us over the brink... creating a news cycle based on profits rather than information. Talking about the Trump campaign, CBS CEO, Leslie Moonves recently said, “It may not be good for America, but it’s damn good for CBS.” Moonves continued, “Man, who would have expected the ride we’re all having right now? The money’s rolling in and this is fun [...] This is going to be a very good year for us.
