Sunday Album Open Thread: The Rainbow Concert

Some Albums really stood out for one reason or another, but never seemed to get the recognition they deserved. There are others that I just like to play every once in a while. This is one.

I just talked to my sister.
Our mother died earlier this month. She (sister) currently has 5 dogs in her house, and is weepy. My only dog has been barking for a day. I got to play stronger older sister. And confirm she did a good caretaker role for nearly 20 years. I ran away from home. Easier route for me. She would occasionally say she hated me for being unbrave. I took it. I am weepy, too. But not simultaneously. Not until we are together, physically. Whenever.
The House. The proceeds go to her, she cannot bring herself to go there. A monster in the basement. We grew up there. She has organizer friends who all have had dead mothers. One as crazy as ours became. 625 miles away. Far enough to buffer right now.
Our father died 20 years ago. Divorced from mother, remarried to someone I met in high school, same age as me. I am now on the same trajectory as our mother, as is my sister, to singlehood. Depressing.
