The National Election Pool(NEP) is a cooperative arrangement between all major US mainstream media (MSM), to use election data solely supplied by Edison Research and Mitofsky International in order to publish exit polling data. It was formed out of the failure of the Voters News Service(VNS), begun for same purpose in 1990. The fiasco of 2002, when VNS failed to produce exit poll data because of glitches in software, resulted in disbanding of VNS and the NEP was formed.

The real issues are with NEP are its refusal to adopt international standards for exit polling. And its consistent record of refusing to release certain polling data for inspection. It also claims their exit polls are not designed and cannot be used to detect fraud.

This is absurd on the face of it. It is the same as saying you can't use sampling data on a production line to detect manufacturing defects because statistical quality control is worthless.

Fortunately there is a new game in town which meets the highest standards available. Election Verification Exit Polling (EVEP), a robust form of exit polling first envisioned by Dr. Kenneth F. At this time, it's not possible to address the problems with the voting process that negatively affected the Sanders campaign in the primaries. But it is still essential to monitor the general election process effectively, especially to allow third-party access into that event.

I think it will be possible to have a Green Party administration in the White House one day, because of attention and elimination of widespread US election fraud or, as the Election Defense Alliance calls it, “targeted mis-tabulation”.
