All she's doing is keeping the TRUMP BAD!!! thing alive. Acosta's resignation will be spun as Trump attempting to deflect attention from his own crimes. (hey, it worked for Hillary) AOC will call (rightly and indisputably this time) for impeachment but Pelosi will stall until after the election. There will be "revelations" ("conspiracy theories") that the victim has ties to the Clintons and the #metoo pack will rise up and donate millions to faux feminist Democraps.

Pelosi will do anything to keep Trump in office as long as possible - he's the corruptocrats' abortion. As long as he's POTUS the donations and the distraction will keep on coming. As soon as he's gone they'll need another distraction or they will quickly lose another thousand seats, and then the donations will stop.
