And by 'They', I mean employers. I received this email not long after applying for what could be described as an entry level position:

Thanks for your interest in the Clerical Support position at Home Health Care of Florida. We have reviewed your application. Unfortunately, you are not the right fit for the position at this time.

I am sorry for the disappointing news. Best of luck in your job search.

No, they're not. In reality, their postings are written in such a way that they're impossible to fill. There's always one more certification. One more year of experience. One more 'skill' that these sons of bitches are 'looking for'. It doesn't help that the economy is based on gambling, extraction/extortion, growth for the sake of growth in the vein of cancer, and planned obsolescence about every three months (Thanks, Silicon Valley).

I suppose I could do what all the kids are doing these days, be it Twitch/Youtube streaming, post pure clickbait videos or blogs, pumping up said channels or blogs with bots for ad revenue, begging for money on Patreon, driving for UberLyft...but that isn't how I do things. And besides, with my disabilities being what they are, there's no way I could make anything even resembling a living off of that kind of crap.

Unfortunately, due to the fact that the continuing Reagan Revolution continues to loot society at large, that's all that's left. People like me have nowhere to go, and to be honest, that's fine. After all, it won't be long the shit hits the fan yet again with how reckless Dipshit and his McResistance pals are rolling back every token action Obama and Friends took during the Lame Duck Administration.
