Another Exile from DailyKos joins The Caucus

I suppose I should have seen the writing on the wall when Kos himself declared a virtual open season on anyone who refused to get behind Hillary Clinton after March 15th. As for me, there's a whole laundry list of reasons not to get behind her at all, but personally, her being open to cutting things like Social Security and Medicare are a deal breaker, faux progressive veneer aside.

Anti assault and violence groups condemn anti-transgender bills

The National Task Force to End Sexual and Domestic Violence Against Women has initiated a statement which was signed onto by over 250 anti-sexual assault and domestic violence groups saying that the bill does nothing to reduce assault but rather puts transgender people at an even bigger risk of violence.

Here's a Thought: Bernie's Modest Proposal to the DNC

Dear Fellow Dems:
Have you ever considered that I, Bernie, can make your dreams come true? By giving me the nom, I can fundraise the dickens out of the base (you know I can) and simultaneously shut down Trump's accusations to come against "corrupt Hillary". Think about it. You have until early June.
Sincerely,
Bernie

The Democratic Party's Forty Percent Dilemma

Robert Reich pointed to this particular statistic recently in his essay posted at Alternet, Don't Bank on All of Bernie's Supporters Making an Easy Switch to Hillary: Over forty percent (40%) of all political contributions in 2012 "came from the richest 0.01 percent of American households." Almost 42% (41.8% to be precise) actually.

Dear Hillary, This isn't going to Work.

Don't get me wrong, I know how much money you've spent trying to tell me how great you are. I understand how you've arranged an entire intervention with your friends to tell me why I need to give you a second chance. I get how much you think you deserve this.

But here's the thing. It's not you. It's me.
