I am committed to the notion of participatory democracy. That's why, yesterday, the day after driving back from the Left Coast, I (and my wife) attended the Buffalo County Convention. If you do not know: The county conventions in Nebraska are used to consolidate the caucus results that then determine the county delegate representation to the state convention. This step is important because that mix of delegates determines the actual Nebraska vote at the national convention.
Jeepers. Who could have expected this?

This is apparently the issue the Clinton supporters, even of the "lesser of two evils" variety, use as a backstop. Never mind Clinton's reliance upon austerity planning and militarism, both of which suggest deep convulsions within society in their own rights. What's frightening to them is Trump -- his lack of proper manners, his sexism and racism, his bullying behavior.
This is what LA sent me in response to this Question about the 24% of voters who are registered No Party Preference.
Question: If you registered with no party preference and If you vote by mail, AND you did not return the postcard to select a party ballot - can you bring the ballot you got and exchange it for a DEM party on and vote for Bernie Sanders at your voting precinct?. What else would a voter need to do?

Please note, these voters may still submit a request to have the crossover ballot mailed to them instead, if they wish. The last day to submit a request is May 31, 2016. Hi there, we've had a marvelous long weekend, the unofficial start of summer in SE Ontario. When we lived in northern Ontario, it was the 1st of July long weekend :=) With summer here and a long list of outdoor projects, I'm announcing the Resilience Group summer loafers schedule.
