I am on the Bernie Events slack team, one of 11 or so Slacks including my own Westchester4Bernie Slack, that I am on. The Sanders campaign made great use of Slack. Campaign staffers could share info with organizers such as myself, resources and knowledge shared in an instant.
This is a continuing sad tale.
The great Progressive hero Bernie Sanders, who likely and rightfully won the Democratic Nomination -- if all the Election suppression, coin-flips, poll closings, E-Vote cheating, and other visible gimmicks had been properly prevented (as they should've been), now has backed his truck up again, and turned his tail on Progressives yet one more time.
If this site disappears for the weekend it's to prevent the implosion it's headed for. Please folks, take your fingers off of the self destruct buttons.
Update: I'm joking about taking the site offline for the weekend, but I have to admit that it is tempting.
As promised, my Vlog with the reasons besides my health that I'm moving on from the general election:
US Magistrate Judge Joi Elizabeth Peake has delayed federal court proceedings concerning the North Carolina HB2 law for six months "while the U.S. Supreme Court considers whether to hear a Virginia case on transgender restroom access."
Instead of a court date in November as had been scheduled, the case will be pushed back to next May.
Joy: Such a small word to have such a huge impact on a person's world view and their own view of themselves and their circumstances.
