Until recently the talk in France's presidential election was all about either Le Pen's bigotry or Fillon's corruption, and the only alternative was the quasi-neoliberal centrist Macron.
But now someone else has surged into contention - Jean-Luc Mélenchon.
Unlike many progressive sites on You Tube, I didn't lose any ad revenue from my videos posted there in this recent censorship effort by TPTB, because I never allowed You Tube ads to run on my YouTube channel. But I did have to create a new one called Steven D Speaks.
Trump's missile strike hasn't made a lot of sense as something directed at Russia or Syria, minimally damaging as it was. Or as a message worth the blowback, to placate the neocons - they'll never be satisfied until we've annihilated ourselves.
So here's another interpretation, from Ilargi:

Here's what you get when you inform your Democratic Senator of your feelings concerning one of Trump's disastrous nominees (I am not surprised in the least having had a discussion with this man about the rights of women to control their own bodies and much more - by the way, he thinks women have no rights in this regard because He was "raised as anti-abortion" and would "die as anti-abortion". Oh, how he disgusts me in so many ways):
Dear Mr. Dixon,
Bernie, still gotta love him, started a movement going, even though he has chickened out in pursuing it, which has encouraged rising stars such as Tulsi Gabbard, Nina Turner, Tim Canova and revitalized people like Alan Grayson and Jeff Merkley. My favorite, bar none, the real deal, the real straight shooter, the one with guts, is Tulsi Gabbard.
The backstory:
While the Syrian government surrendered their chemical weapon stockpiles for destruction in 2014, evidence indicates that rebel groups in Syria have ramped up their own supplies of the deadly weapons and have not hesitated to deploy them in combat. In November 2016, the New York Times acknowledged that ISIS, alone, had used chemical arms at least 52 times in Syria and Iraq.

April 10 is the 100th day of the year. There are 265 days left.
Today's number is 10
10 is the base of the decimal number system. Since many others such as 12 make more sense, we must assume that it is because humans have 10 manual digits.
Love this place. Truth reigns. For the most part, anyway. But still seeing here and there 'the peace movement has been missing for the last 8 years', 'where is the peace movement ?, but you know, sorry, but hey, fck you. Where are you? The peace movement has continued on from the 60's. Sorry if you left it. Sorry if you never joined. Sorry if you are ignorant of it's workings.
When your corruption is so obvious and blatant that CNBC, the business channel that couldn't see the fraud of the 2008 financial bubble staring them in face, can call out your bullsh*t on-air, then you aren't fooling ANYONE!
Ouch!
