Just watched a piece on Good Morning America on urine in public swimming pools. The "reporter", didn't catch his name, decided to go around taking samples of pool water in various places and sending them off to a lab for testing. "Certified" testing he crowed.
I didn't know about this until I read an essay titled 'They're Coming for the Americans With Disabilities Act' written by a deaf poster on TOP. There are two bills currently going through the Repig controlled house to do this.
The first is HR 620 which was introduced by that dumb son of a bitch, Ted Poe of Texas:

It's good to see you. Come on in, leave your shoes in the hallway, we've got fire on the stove preparing lunch for later. In the meantime, browse the bookshelves and plunk down on the sofa with one, or pick out some tunes from the music library or come in to the kitchen to help with the cooking. Our special blend of tea is steeping and will be right up.
I had a good laugh today when HenryWallace questioned the veracity of my statement, "It is very exhilarating to be involved with shutting down multimillion dollar projects." Noting "that people sometimes sincerely mistake correlation for causation.", and opined "I would trust your sincere belief in anything that you posted and would never assume intentional deceit on your part."
Earlier this month Maine Democrats held a meeting where onetime Democratic state Senate candidate Richard Fochtmann decided to tell a joke.
Remember Debbie Wasserman Schultz? When I think of her I think of this:

I wrote this essay nearly a year ago, and I am recycling it because it explains why those in the seats of power refuse to do anything to help the average citizen. It is more than just greed. It is more like a religious belief that they are better than the rest of us. It infects both parties, but it has been exposed for the rest of the world to see just how deeply embedded this philosophy is within the Democratic party. Meritocracy forms the bedrock of neoliberalism.
The medical knowledge needed to treat transgender people is not particularly complex, but patients still often struggle to find doctors who are prepared to treat them.
The Atlantic has published a lengthy article encouraging training of primary physicians in the treatment of transgender patients.
