What the MSM is ignoring.

Over the weekend I heard the headline "Hillary increases her lead over Donald Trump". I looked up to see if she had hit 60%, and Trump had dropped to the twenties, because he had had such a bad week. When the numbers appeared on screen, I couldn't believe it, Trump was only five points behind Hillary. Trump is not running ads, has had a terrible week, his campaign is in disarray, and Hillary can't even get to 50%. In my estimation, if Hillary Clinton is the strong candidate that the Democratic establishment want us to believe she is, her poll numbers should be much higher.

Quinnipiac ...
the latest Quinnipiac poll has them essentially tied with Clinton at 42% and Trump at 40%. And this is after the MSM has been pounding Trump like a used drum for the past few weeks.
In a future close nearby, Trump drank her milkshake.
Twice.
Both of them can barely hit 40%
when you factor in Johnson and Stein. Hillary and Trump have so many weaknesses with the electorate that now is the perfect time for a strong third party to strike. Today, Quinnipiac only has her ahead by two points nationally (39 to 37) and 53-58% think that both Hillary and Trump would be terrible leaders. According to the poll, their unfavorables are tied at 57% each, for a score of -20 vs. -23.
This election is a huge joke. No wonder people are ready to burn the system to the ground.
About 20% for a 3rd party
It's looking like the "Not Trump or Hillary" vote will approach 18%-20%. That's without Bernie running 3rd party.

Or, if not Bernie, then Third Party.
Love the image! If Bernie goes third party, we should definitely
choose this image. I think it's even better than the Birdie meme!

I'm sure OrangeState
Says the Quinnipiac poll is skewed. Then spends the entire post talking about how Trump is complaining about skewed polls.

Just wait until the Grand Ol Party finally shivs
the Cheeto of Doom and substitutes some more plausible cross-totin' fascist in his stead!
All of HRC's new-found friends on the right will push each other aside to scurry back aboard the S.S. Oily Garch.
One of the last comments I ever made at TOP
was about this. The Democrats have had a president in the White House for two terms now. The only time in recent memory that a party has been able to hold on to the White House was Reagan/Reagan/Bush 41. If Trump doesn't get the nomination, does Clinton have a plan B? Her whole campaign is "Vote for me - I'm not as scary as Trump. And what was the Clintonoids response to this question?
The oligarchy will continue - with Clinton, or Trump, or
and new candidate replacing Trump.
And really, were Sanders nominated, and were he to win the GE, that wouldn't wipe away the problems either. At this stage, Sanders is a stop gap, and not even one that can fully change the entrenched systemic problems we have.
Sanders might slow the decline we're facing - for a while, but he won't stop it. And then we'll have another election in 2020, or in 2024, and people at some point will pass the torch to the other squad of our single party system.
Yes, lots can happen, but it's very likely that given Sanders will be unable to do much, that being thwarted by the legislature will just frustrate people even more.
Sanders might not buckle under like Obama did and be a good servant of the status quo, but the effect of the oppositional grid locked government won't make the people any more satisfied. Maybe he can shake a few things up and that'll be enough to change some things in the long view, but we, obviously, won't know until we get there.
And still, we have HRC intending to ensure her status quo, elitism and globalism. There won;t be anything incremental about those efforts if she manages to become POTUS.
