The USofA: a Land of Martyrs

Let's not try to even imagine, let alone list them all, but start with JFK, MLK, RFK, and Malcolm. No real ancient history there, but merely the tip of the iceberg.

Chaney, Goodman, and Schwerner, Fred Hampton, Mark Clark, and Bobby Hutton.

Sacco, Vanzetti and all who died in the MOVE house.

But these are all notorious cases and named individuals.

What about all of the labor leaders, labor organizers and striking laborers.

What about all of the civil rights leaders, activists, marchers, and demonstrators.

What about the student leaders, activists and protesters.

What about the victims of the so-called "Zoot Suit Riots".

What about those who died in Los Gatos Canyon.?

And, on a vaster scale

What about persons such as Emmet Til and the thousands upon thousands of other persons of color who were killed simply because they were persons of color.

And, lastly, what about the enormous number of indigenous persons killed for being in the way of empire?

And what now can we say about all these? What can we say about their assassinations and murders and their assassins and murderers?

Well, for starts, for the vast majority, they were committed by the government or government agents, government proxies, or, at a minimum, with government approval and permission, if only tacit.

So, as we enter a bright new era of bipartisan skulduggery, please always keep in mind that

The Government is not your friend! They will do nothing to help you and will try to oppress and suppress you at every opportunity, every claim to aim to protect you is some sort of project to further restrain and restrict you. That also goes for the corporates who form the other part of the governmental-corporate symbiote.

People could govern themselves. We do not need others with agendas. We should be allowed to just live. Thanks for posting this. Such great insight. Pleasantry

conclusions that you so succinctly expressed above. The breadth and depth of the systemic capture of our government by money is staggering. Our government does NOT serve the interests of the governed, and may never have. We live in a sea of illusions, wishing them to be a reflection of our reality.

Well said, EL. From the very beginning this is who we have been. From genocide to slavery to invading any country that doesn’t do what we tell them to. We rile up citizens to attack their government and then we install brutal puppet dictators and boy are those people sorry. In the lead up to the election I kept seeing color revolution. I saw a lot of people predicting what is happening now. Funny that.

Which AIPAC/MIC/pharma/bank bought politician are you going to vote for? Don’t be surprised when nothing changes.

my mind a few times too. Of course, our experts in fomenting one were all in opposition to the two-bit reality star and he did manage to piss off the military. Of course, he did praise and support the cops like crazy. Is there a script in history for a proto color revolution where the cops take out the military? Night of the Long Knives was close, but the SA wasn't the real army (who hated it), but more, actually, like the proud boys.

... ever hear of Ludlow (Colorado)? --

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ludlow_Massacre

... long story short, turn-of-the-century (~1913) coal miners in Colorado went on strike for safer working conditions (at the time, " In 1912 the annual death rate in Colorado's mines was 7.055 per 1,000 employees); were locked out; and forced to contend with gangs of strikebreaking goons, local & State police, and State militia, delivered by the Governor, bought&paid for by the mine owners (Rockefellers). Following a massacre of strikers & family members (women & children) by goons & Colorado National Guard,

"... the miners armed themselves and attacked dozens of anti-union establishments over the next ten days, destroying property and engaging in several skirmishes with the Colorado National Guard along a 40-mile (64 km) front from Trinidad to Walsenburg. An estimated 69 to 199 deaths occurred during the strike. Historian Thomas G. Andrews has called it the "deadliest strike in the history of the United States", and it is commonly known as the Colorado Coalfield War."
