Tulsi condemns Erdogan as being a vicious dictator

Have you ever heard anybody in the USG (U.S. government) in the last 10 years saying the truth about the "moderate rebels", aka the moderate head choppers? In fact they'll only cut half your head off.

When's the last time somebody said that the head of an allied country was a malignant dictator?

Not only does Tulsi have the guts to say this, she is trying to get a Stop Arming Terrorists Act passed. I do not believe Nancy P. is gonna let that happen.

One thing I like is that Tulsi criticizes Trump on policy bases, not the emotional Orange Man Bad rants. Would you be surprised if Tulsi also blasted ALL of her Democratic rivals for not having the guts to talk publicly about this moderate rebel arms running scheme?

I recommend watching Alex Christophoro's introduction. The whole video is 4:40.

[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foHcgORUiIg]

After watching this video, how many people here would change their votes to Tulsi if electability, its was not an issue?

I watched highlights of the SC Dem debate. That performance satisfied the definition of cluster fuck. At one point, all 7 of the candidates had their hands in the air, requesting to speak.

Here's a screen shot from the debate.

Here is an observation:
Look at the hand gestures of each of the 4.
Buttjiggle's open palm is not fully open. It is still cup-like, meaning incomplete agreement.
Bloomie looks like he's pretty tightly wound. His hand is fist-like, not actually a fist, yet neither a relaxed hand.
Bernie's hand is like a pincer--draw your own conclusion
Liawatha's hand looks perhaps like a Cherokee Girl Scout's recognition sign.

WTF is the Republic gonna do?

It's gonna go Trump in 1972 style--if the flu doesn't get us first.

I saw some of his speeches a few years ago and it completely freaked me out. He has a messiah complex. After watching a speech of his the first time I had him pegged as the initiator of WW3. Fast forward a few years and here we are.

Good on Tulsi for calling him out and calling a spade a spade. I've been watching the Duran here and there. Tough stuff to hear sometimes, but a solid source of geopolitical information.

Take this one for instance. People think Nancy was being rude to Trump when in reality she was actually congratulating him on his speech.

I'm liking what Tulsi has been saying about the intelligence agencies interfering with the election and for calling the Turkey guy out. She recently talked about Julian Assange too and she got lots of kudos for it, but unfortunately no one covered it.

Nancy's "big handclap" taken right after Trump said the US "will never be a socialist country"?

But she did stand up to clap him for saying that. As did Warren. But not Bernie.

Assange.

Here is another great interview she did on Fox (gasp) about the Corona virus and why she is still in the race.

This needs repeating:

Instead of asking why Tulsi is still in the race they should ask DNC and CNN why they deprive the public from hearing from this amazing candidate and force the voters to choose from the candidates DNC and establishment have selected for them.

megalomaniac. But he's only been president since 2014. PM from 2003-2014. Guess he gets to be top dog regardless of which position he holds. Wondered if they shouldn't consider giving him both, and then checked further to discover that they have -- the people voted to abolish the position of PM in 2017 and reelected Erdogan in 2018.

I'm not comfortable labeling any head of state or head of government a dictator absent very specific criteria and applied consistently for all foreign governments. Have no idea what that criteria would be or should be. If people/voters are satisfied with their president/leader and reelect him/her over and over again, shouldn't that be their right?

@Marie Perhaps we should be asking: WHY do they keep reelecting him - and have the results been legitimate?

@The Liberal Moonbat
Not sure we/USG are in a strong position to answer that question in other countries when we can't do it in our own. Bush 2000 was illegitimate and yet he was reelected in 2004, but was that legitimate. Was HRC the legitimate winner of primary elections and caucuses? Then there's Trump -- proclaimed to be illegitimate but after over three years no evidence for the claim has been brought forward.

Then the USG declared that Evo Morales was illegitimate because his reelection was fraudulent and therefore, in coordination with the OAS backed a coup that ousted him. Now an analysis of Bolivia's election results can find no evidence of fraud, and therefore Morales is the legitimate president of Bolivia; only he won't be allowed to return from Mexico and a new election will be held in a few months and will not include Morales.

Maduro and Assad are both labeled illegitimate, and therefore, the US backs regime change in both of their countries. And then there's Lula and Rousseff in Brazil.

UN election observers could be deployed to every country for major elections to answer the question as to whether it was fraudulent or not. The US is unlikely to pass such a test.

Kiddos, it's bed time now. Everybody sleep and tomorrow is school* . So ...

What did Merkel say to Erdogan? Why do I have to ask Dr. Alligator for a source and link of what Merkel said? I am open for learning about it.

That's all I found and I can not conclude that she would support giving Erdgan money for keeping the refugees inside Turkey.

I mean Merkel seems to be hard to 'read' and she can surpress her true feelings and says nothing much for 'diplomatic politeness'.

PS. I try to imagine (as Mr. Alex 'Duran' suggested to Trump), Tulsi being Sec. of State in a second term of a Trump presidency. Well, that didn't go down easily, and I got a hick-up.

I am very much in Tulsi's camp, but seeing her as Sec. of State in a Trump 2nd term, feels like Tulsi become a stepford wife. Nah, no way ...

Sigh.

In the last day or so I've seen several articles about hostilities between Turkey and the Syrian coalition. There was one dispatch from some kind of Bulgarian news agency which was a little scary. Moon of Alabama seems to see it as not quite as hot as it was described (Erdogan claimed Idlib to be part of Turkey, Iranians said that if Turkey doesn't withdraw from Syria that it would rain missiles down on the Turks). Erdogan is a bit of a whack job, and lots of news filtered through the Middle East tends to mix religion, lies and hysteria. And, of course, our MSM hasn't mentioned any of it.

I've read enough on the non-MSM sources to suggest that the Russians and their allies have weapons advanced enough to stop the US/NATO/etc. in the butt. For ex, an expanding war would knock out the oil coming through the Straits of Hormuz, and I haven't got the memo from the Deep State as to whether that's good or bad for their fortunes.

Anyone have a firm grasp on what's going on? Should I hunt down Colonel Cassad?

@Bob In Portland Qassim Soleimany was no friend of Turkey (Sunni) and their invasion of northern Syria. Whacko Erdo thinks Idlib should be part of Turkey? Is he nucking futz? Vlad will impale his whole fucking air force down with a rain of S40's and Su37s before Recep can exit morning prayers. Recep better pray to Allah that he doesn't push Vlad's buttons, because Putin has more and better "buttons" he can push. Get out of Syria, Recep, you retarded war monger. Let our Amerikan war-mongers take Idlib over for you.

Tulsi was the only adult in the room - so, of course, they had to be sure that she *wasn't*.

BTW - here she is on Fox (the only network that will have her on, apparently) - appealing directly to Trump on coronavirus action. And doing it calmly and respectfully *class* of a level that the others don't begin to approach.

I seriously believe that the likes of Hillary would consider the death of tens or hundreds of thousands and a crashed economy acceptable losses if it would get them rid of Trump.

I din't see that you had already posted the video. She did a great job on talking about the pandemic and the silly fights that democrats are pushing instead of just everyone working together to get people help.

I am very glad that Fox has her on because she can reach people who won't watch the Clinton News Network or MSDNC. It's their loss too that they don't have her on.
