Trivializing Tragedy and Life Experience: What is it about mass shootings and conspiracy theorists?
It seems like every time there's a mass shooting or similar tragedy, there's always some asshole with a youtube channel and Windows Movie Maker ready to trivialize it by screaming about how it was a hoax. You can find all sorts of videos like this on virtually every subject, but in the last few years, it's gotten particularly bad from Sandy Hook onward. It's gotten so bad that these folks don't even try to sound reasonable anymore.
And it isn't just mass shootings these assholes trivialize in order to make it fit there outlandish theories. It can be almost anything. Hell, even cyber bullying has been trivialized by these dickheads via gamergate and anytime some youtube celebrity like Thunderfoot makes another video.
At this point, the only thing I'm asking myself is which event will these assholes minimize next?

I think in part it's to distract from our insane
gun laws and government failures.
Local government failed by not protecting the people at the night club.
State government failed by passing murderous guns laws.
The federal government failed by allowing states to enact and keep on the books these laws while failing to enact responsible gun legislation
An added failure is that of the FBI who had investigated the shooter and did not take action even when citizens came forward with credible information.
On the private sector side, the company that hires security personnel ignored red flags that they were employing people who should not be in quasi police jobs and handle firearms as a routine part of their jobs.
(The ancillary is Who benefits? from these lapses. I would put forward the arms merchants as a possibility/probablility.)

What's the difference between 3,000 innocent American civilians deaths by the terrorists on 9/11 and the thousands upon thousands of innocent Muslim civilians deaths by our drone strikes?
None, imo. But look at how many people support Trump's ideas of bombing the terrorist's family members in the Middle East.
And both Hillary and Obama said that the terrorists are asking their followers here to attack us in their speech about the shooting in Orlando and that the US and its allies need to increase the war on terror.
If the US hadn't been invading other countries, overthrowing elected leaders and installing brutal dictators or trained other country's military to torture and murder the people in their own country, then I don't think that the US would have ever been attacked by terrorists.
Our government tells us that they have to fight the terrorists over there so that we don't have to fight them here. And they say that they are fighting them to protect the United States. That's bullshit and they know it. First of all, the US and its allies are arming, training and funding Isis, Al Quada and other terrorist groups.
So if the US can say that the war on terror is for self defense, then why can't the terrorists use the same phrase if they attack us her?
The best way to fight the war on terror is to get our asses out of the countries in the Middle East and everywhere we have a base.
And I know that the war on terror is just an excuse for the military to be the muscle for the corporations to steal those country's resources.

And the attackers in Paris and Brussels told the governments that the attacks were in retaliation for the bombings that killed innocent civilians.
And one more thing. The bogus war of terror is another way to drain our treasury of our money and give it to the defense contractors and other contractors.
