They Found the New Evidence/Emails While Investigating Weiner's Sexting?!

Still not sure this isn't made up, but...

FBI Found New Emails In Hillary Case While Investigating Anthony Weiner’s Sexts

According to the New York Times, FBI officials discovered new relevant emails after seizing the disgraced former New York congressman’s personal devices.

FBI agents confiscated Weiner’s personal devices — as well as those belonging to his estranged wife and Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin — while conducting an investigation into sexually charged messages he sent to a 15-year-old girl back in September.

The Daily Caller has the link to the NYT for those who can get through the paywall.

Sending classified info to Huma on a non-encrypted device from a probably non-encrypted server for the purposes of "printing it"! Really, how much crap are we expected to believe. Oh, I know! All State Dept. printers ran out of ink at the exact same time, so Medusa sent a few emails to Huma to be printed. Hillary, send me some emails and I'll print them for free and mail them back to you--just like you mailed a laptop to the FBI.

OT maybe: Something that has been on my mind for some time now: What is up with Huma Abedin? She is the person who has occasionally said things--out loud, not in hacked emails-- that put HRC in boiling water, and all of a sudden Abedin's husband goes completely bonkers. Conspiracy theory: HRC was blackmailed into taking on and keeping Abedin (who has Saudi Arabian ties), and HRC occasionally strikes back.

Comey.
“I was shocked to read Director Comey’s letter in which he indicated ‘the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation.’
Okay, I think that it's appropriate for him to review the emails to see if they contain classified information. Isn't that his job? Yes, so what is her concern?
“This is particularly troubling since so many questions are unanswered. It’s unclear whether these emails have already been reviewed or if Secretary Clinton sent or received them. In fact, we don’t even know if the FBI has these emails in its possession.
Well, since so many questions are unanswered then shouldn't he investigate and find the answers? I think so.

“Without knowing how many emails are involved, who wrote them, when they were written or their subject matter, it’s impossible to make any informed judgment on this development. However, one thing is clear: Director Comey’s announcement played right into the political campaign of Donald Trump, who is already using the letter for political purposes. And all of this just 11 days before the election.
Again since he doesn't know how many emails are involved, who wrote them, ect then that should be what needs to be found out, right? I personally don't care about the timing because the emails were just found. What should he do, wait until the election is over and then investigate them?
“Director Comey admits ‘the FBI cannot yet assess whether or not this material may be significant.’ He cannot predict how long the investigation will take. And we don’t know if the FBI has these emails in hand. It’s too bad Director Comey didn’t take those gaping holes into consideration when he decided to send this letter. The FBI has a history of extreme caution near Election Day so as not to influence the results. Today’s break from that tradition is appalling.”
I think I have already addressed this issue.
And what is appalling, DiFi is Hillary's arrogance of flouting the rules about how classified information is to be handled.
Do you have any concerns about whether Hillary's BFF Sidney Bluementhal' had the proper security clearance to send her the emails that he stole from the NSA which after she received them she removed his name from them and sent them to Obama?

This FBI re-opening of the investigation occurred right after this cover-up - and some states are apparently allowing early voters to revote as a result.

Reposting this (again, and slightly edited as I go along), as it seems to me that the big story is in what and why Lynch is covering this up, even as to how this over one and a half billion-dollar cash transfer was approved and delivered.

(Recall the billions, seem to recall trillions multiple times, which have simply vanished since 9/11?)

And I've read that Comey's being attacked and charged with 'influencing an election' for re-opening the FBI investigation. If he or his family has any 'suicides' or 'accidents', we'll know.

If you recall, he did make it plain that anyone else would be charged and made it very clear how insane it was claiming that Hillary hadn't broken the law in using her public office for personal enrichment and endangering national security, etc. in his apologia for not charging her with any/everything - and for the 'distortion' of procedure in the 'investigation.

This re-opening of the FBI investigation occurred right after this came out, (bolding mine) linked off a Twitter thread linked to in a C-9 post:

Congress: Attorney General Lynch ‘Pleads Fifth’ on Secret Iran ‘Ransom’ Payments

Obama admin blocking congressional probe into cash payments to Iran

BY: Adam Kredo
October 28, 2016 11:22 am

Attorney General Loretta Lynch is declining to comply with an investigation by leading members of Congress about the Obama administration’s secret efforts to send Iran $1.7 billion in cash earlier this year, prompting accusations that Lynch has “pleaded the Fifth” Amendment to avoid incriminating herself over these payments, according to lawmakers and communications exclusively obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) and Rep. Mike Pompeo (R., Kan.) initially presented Lynch in October with a series of questions about how the cash payment to Iran was approved and delivered.

In an Oct. 24 response, Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik responded on Lynch’s behalf, refusing to answer the questions and informing the lawmakers that they are barred from publicly disclosing any details about the cash payment, which was bound up in a ransom deal aimed at freeing several American hostages from Iran. ...

.. In the Oct. 24 letter to Rubio and Pompeo, Assistant Attorney General Kadzik warned the lawmakers against disclosing to the public any information about the cash payment.

Details about the deal are unclassified, but are being kept under lock and key in a secure facility on Capitol Hill, the Free Beacon first disclosed. Lawmakers and staffers who have clearance to view the documents are forced to relinquish their cellular devices and are barred from taking any notes about what they see.

“Please note that these documents contain sensitive information that is not appropriate for public release,” Kadzik wrote to the lawmakers. “Disclosure of this information beyond members of the House and Senate and staff who are able to view them could adversely affect the diplomatic relations of the United States, including with key allies, as well as the State Department’s ability to defend [legal] claims against the United States [by Iran] that are still being litigated at the Hague Tribunal.”

“The public release of any portion of these documents, or the information contained therein, is not authorized by the transmittal of these documents or by this communication,” Kadzik wrote.

Congressional sources have told the Free Beacon that this is another part of the effort to hide details about these secret negotiations with Iran from the American public.

One senior congressional source familiar with both the secret documents and the inquiry into them told the Free Beacon that the details of the negotiations are so damning that the administration’s best strategy is to ignore lawmakers’ requests for more information. ...

And they're treating it just like the TPP, even though it's unclassified? Can you even imagine how filthy-dirty it must be?

It's claimed to be a ransom payment - but no details are to be released?

Is it a settlement to Iran, because there's so much proof that the US and allies lied and horrendously damaged the country/people accepted by The Hague and impossible to suppress when the judgement comes out?

Is that why this will affect US allies - such as the Likud Isreali's who want to nuke Iran?

Or is it to rig some excuse for nuking Iranians? Or what - Obama's pension fund? Clinton's escape fund because she thinks there will be somewhere 'safe' when she starts nuking multiple countries?

This could be it.

Better by far to bring the whole stinking mass of corruption forming government down than to let them take the whole world of life down with them in the near future, something from which no recovery would be possible.

Speaking of corruption, could this have been one of the topics discussed between Lynch and Bill Clinton in the private visit in the plane?

And because of the FBI re-opening the Clinton case, apparently some States are allowing early voters to change their votes.

If you voted 'lesser evil', it may not be too late to vote for the only non-corporate-coup-supporting Presidential candidate, Jill Stein - she could win on the actual votes of Indies, the largest voting group in the US, alone, thereby avoiding an inexorably fatal-to-life evil altogether.

ifyouonlynews dot com tried to spin this one really hard, using an MSNBC segment that manipulated Trump's statement.

The FBI announced it was re-opening the investigation into the Clinton email server.
Trump exclaims that they're re-opening the case of the Clinton email server.

MSNBC says "They never closed the case! This is a nothing burger!"
But if you read the Comey letter, it's very clear that the investigation has been reactivated, and that is pretty fucking far from a nothing burger.

Elsewhere, some have claimed the FBI also announced that none of the emails were from Secretary Clinton. Were some to Secretary Clinton? Who else could they have been from to be pertinent? Presumably it's someone who doesn't use a clintonemail.com or a state.gov address.

Many websites have been pointing out that the government hasn't shown any proof that it was Russia who is behind this.
And for me the proof that it isn't Russia behind this is the day after the first DNC information about how they did everything they could to get Hillary elected was when they started telling everyone it was Russia behind it.
I'm sure it takes more than a day to track down cybercrime.
Instead of addressing what was leaked and how it affected the election they deflected the question to who leaked it.

"Obama promised transparency, but Assange is the one who brought it."

dervish's picture

what Wikileaks is trying to accomplish. Yes, Trump is scary and an idiot, but that's self-evident, even to most Republicans. The Republican establish is effectively broken, nobody trusts it anymore, thus Trump.

The problem is that the Democratic establishment still has a degree of credibility and legitimacy, in spite of being in the bag with big business, the banks, and the war-mongers. The Bernie voters know what's wrong, but many Dems still don't.

Wikileaks is attacking the Dem. party establishment to erode their credibility, to show people that both party establishments were two sides of the same evil coin. Done effectively, these leaks will destroy the machines and the insiders of both parties, and allow for a genuine populist take over, eventually.

Sad and scary... I really respected her...

I've been wondering about brainwashing for some time, something everyone from Big Pharma to US agencies have been working on forever.

Some years back, I'd read something in a business section about Harvard Business School promoting a technology for investment/sale in which people watching a film using it would be convinced that not only did they believe a certain thing, but always had, using the innocuous example of exercise being good for the health. Then I never heard anything else about it. That keeps popping into mind in such cases as these. Messing with people's minds/memories/perceptions like that is, in a way, worse than outright killing them.

that was just released today. It's from Chaim Saban, the gazillionaire to John Podesta, just before the Florida primary.

Nothing earth-shattering there, but the contempt they had for Bernie is palpable, and the fact that Saban has such access is quite telling.

The google says he is worth 2.9 Billion dollars, a media mogul
Israeli/Egyptian/American.... I suppose he could bankroll her whole campaign.

No wonder we will do the bidding of Israel in the middle East...

Anyone but Trump could have beat her.

and Adelson as an insider for the Republicans (usually), we do Israel's bidding no matter who wins.

That's how it works.

She's made many promises to Saban, and if you haven't read this, please do read it in full at source, if the device you're using allows for it.

Hillary Clinton Goes to Militaristic, Hawkish Think Tank, Gives Militaristic, Hawkish Speech
Glenn Greenwald

September 9 2015

... Brookings is funded in part by one of the Democratic Party’s favorite billionaires, Haim Saban, who is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Israel and once said of himself: “I’m a one-issue guy, and my issue is Israel.” Pollack advocated for the attack on Iraq while he was “Director of Research of the Saban Center for Middle East Policy.” Saban became the Democratic Party’s largest fundraiser — even paying $7 million for the new DNC building — and is now a very substantial funder of Hillary Clinton’s campaign. In exchange, she’s written a personal letter to him publicly “expressing her strong and unequivocal support for Israel in the face of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanction movement.”

So the hawkish Brookings is the prism through which Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy worldview can be best understood. The think tank is filled with former advisers to both Bill and Hillary Clinton, and would certainly provide numerous top-level foreign policy officials in any Hillary Clinton administration. ...

... She vowed that in dealing with Iran, she will be tougher and more aggressive than Reagan was with the Soviet Union: “You remember President Reagan’s line about the Soviets: Trust but verify? My approach will be distrust and verify.” She also explicitly threatened Iran with war if they fail to comply: “I will not hesitate to take military action if Iran attempts to obtain a nuclear weapon, and I will set up my successor to be able to credibly make the same pledge.” She even depicted the Iran Deal as making a future war with Iran easier and more powerful:

Should it become necessary in the future having exhausted peaceful alternatives to turn to military force, we will have preserved and in some cases enhanced our capacity to act. And because we have proven our commitment to diplomacy first, the world will more likely join us.

As for Israel itself, Clinton eagerly promised to shower it with a long, expensive, and dangerous list of gifts. Here’s just a part of what that country can expect from the second President Clinton:

I will deepen America’s unshakeable commitment to Israel’s security, including our long standing tradition of guaranteeing Israel’s qualitative military edge. I’ll increase support for Israeli rocket and missile defenses and for intelligence sharing. I’ll sell Israel the most sophisticated fire aircraft ever developed. The F-35. We’ll work together to develop and implement better tunnel detection technology to prevent arms smuggling and kidnapping as well as the strongest possible missile defense system for Northern Israel, which has been subjected to Hezbollah’s attacks for years.

She promised she “will sustain a robust military presence in the [Persian Gulf] region, especially our air and naval forces.” She vowed to “increase security cooperation with our Gulf allies” — by which she means the despotic regimes in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar, among others. She swore she will crack down even further on Hezbollah: “It’s time to eliminate the false distinction that some still make between the supposed political and military wings. If you’re part of Hezbollah, you’re part of a terrorist organization, plain and simple.”

Then she took the ultimate pledge: “I would not support this agreement for one second if I thought it put Israel in greater danger.” So even if the deal would benefit the U.S., she would not support it “for one second” if it “put Israel in greater danger.” That’s an unusually blunt vow to subordinate the interests of the U.S. to that foreign nation.

But when it comes to gifts to Israel, that’s not all! Echoing the vow of several GOP candidates to call Netanyahu right away after being elected, Clinton promised: “I would invite the Israeli prime minister to the White House during my first month in office to talk about all of these issues and to set us on a course of close, frequent consultation right from the start, because we both rely on each other for support as partners, allies and friends.” She then addressed “the people of Israel,” telling them: “Let me say, you’ll never have to question whether we’re with you. The United States will always be with you.” For good measure, she heaped praise on “my friend Chuck Schumer,” who has led the battle to defeat the Iran Deal, gushing about what an “excellent leader in the Senate” he will make. What’s a little warmongering among friends? ...

I'm sure AIPAC is hanging out of her butt with the other hemorrhoids like Wall Street and Big Oil and, and, and.

Now we know why she wears the long jackets and has problems walking. Pay to play hemorrhoids.

Oh, dios mio, what have we allowed to happen? How can this warmonger call herself a progressive or a liberal?

I work with at least one. He's African American, and back during the primary, I told him about 'super predators' and 'bring them to heel'. I've told him about all sorts of other things, but he believes her and her crooked surrogates. He's a good man, but he puts his faith in MSM too.

Makes me sad. Sad
