Wynton Marsalis on 12 Essential Jazz Recordings

Details; plenty beaucoups details, ici: https://getpocket.com/explore/item/wynton-marsalis-on-12-essential-jazz-...
This is one to stash or archive. To work your way through in one sitting would be quite a bear, especially if you've never heard any of it. The Goodman concert takes a while, for example, and Mingus and Trane too, but a bit less so. All the same, it's worth it, IMHO, but, of course, YMMV. PS - Eddie Harris 1974 blues for some serious funk.

(Of course, if you want the full 7 course meal, the 50 piece bucket, it's linked in that article, and it's here: https://www.jazz.org/blog/wynton-marsalis-top-50-jazz-recordings/ with an embedded playlist to boot. Damn.
