President Joe Biden has tested positive for Covid-19 and is experiencing “mild symptoms,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Thursday.

“This morning, President Biden tested positive for COVID-19. He is fully vaccinated and twice boosted and experiencing very mild symptoms. He has begun taking Paxlovid. Consistent with CDC guidelines, he will isolate at the White House and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time,” she said.

Biden, 79, did not have a fever Thursday morning, the White House’s coronavirus coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha told CNN. Biden has a runny nose, dry cough and is experiencing some fatigue, Jha said.

For the past two and a half years, the internet has seen a furiously acrimonious argument about the injection strategy for dealing with Covid.  My own take has been denigrated and got me threatened with banning from multiple websites.  Across cyberspace, people who argue the "wrong" side are routinely censored, de-funded and banished from social media platforms.

There is an undeniable weariness on all sides with all the acrimony and the social disruption from the official policy.  Most of us realize that there is no going back to our old lives, and I have yet to read a single world from any Pro-Vaxx voice at any level expressing satisfaction with how all this shit has gone down.  Most of the MSM commentary dealing with the refusal of the disease to disappear blame those of us who don't believe their story for the failure of their story.

Both Trump and Biden "test positive" -- old farts who are at the most risk from this "virus" that is now several variants rather than a single entity.

Four shots for Brandon and the naked assertion is that they kept the disease from being much more of a problem for President Biden.  No fever and some sniffles.  Inherently unprovable whether the jabs helped -- asserting what "would" have happened without those jabs. I can't prove and I do not argue that they didn't help. Maybe a bit. Maybe a ton. Maybe made it even worse that it would have been. It is nothing but speculation no matter how you want to spin it.

Recently, it looked for a few weeks like all of us could take a breath and go back to some semblance of message board normalcy.  Unfortunately, for two and half years, Covid has played Lucy to the World Population's Charlie Brown over and over again.  Today's story on Brandon is just the latest "surprise."

Regarding Biden's symptoms, both my wife and I showed precisely those symptoms about two months ago.  We both had some nasal congestion for a few days.  Mine went away first and I never had a sore throat or a fever.  She had a sore throat for the last couple of days and her body temperature topped out at 98.7 degrees.  A few hours later, the thermometer showed 98.6 and the sore throat and sniffles were gone less than five days before they appeared.  If we were still working, neither of us would have had to miss a day.  We both had what used to be called a head cold.

My wife is 71 and I am 69.  Nary a jab for either one of us.

Of course, this "proves" nothing.  But I still see no reason to take the risk of letting somebody stick a needle in me to modify my internal biochemistry.  If they had not told so many ridiculous lies or contradicted themselves so many times, I would give the benefit of the doubt to our national and global political leadership class.  But they just keep putting out bullshit.

I was still scratching my chin about all this as of mid-February 2022.  My point had always been that this THING, whatever it is and wherever it came from, is a NEW PHENOMENON -- and it is inherently unpredictable because our scientists have not had sufficient time, even now, to come to solid conclusions about any aspect of this problem.  But at least there was legitimate reason to have some sort of public health response to this new malady.

Then we heard that part of the old Soviet Union had invaded another part of the old Soviet Union and all talk of Covid shrank down to almost nothing across the MSM and cyberspace.  Apparently, the various editors around the world all decided that "weakening" Russia is the only priority for public policy.  I knew this craziness had no chance of being politically successful like the Covid Scare had been, because people really did get sick and die. But this masochistic effort to hurt Russia by not buying their stuff was NEVER going to do anything positive. But it has already affected every fucking body as the global economy is in the process of collapsing.

The common denominator between these two Top Down campaigns against Covid and Putin is they both destroy the old economy.  It might be rational to want to reconfigure how humanity feeds, clothes, houses and entertains itself -- but using lies to make those changes makes me think that the specific changes to come will be nasty at best and probably lethal to a hell of a lot more folks than have died while testing positive for one or another version of Covid in their system.

Anyway, I hope that Sleepy Joe's vaxx history gets him back in action at least as quickly as my wife and I recovered.  Uh, and I realize that I cannot prove that we survived Covid.  Maybe we just had head colds.  Ironic, huh?

All doubts in my mind disappeared when I saw the exact same tactics of bullshit and censorship come roaring out of the MSM to prove that unless we bankrupt ourselves, Putin will conquer the world. 

These are the same people who told us that the vaccines were safe and effective.  Just not effective at keeping you from catching Covid.  Oy ve.  Some people think that makes sense.  I understand why.  You have to face the possibility that you have been believing bullshit which is profoundly humiliating.  It is more human to just keep believing in your religious faith, even in the face of death.
