"Malinformation is speech that is factually accurate, but is deemed wrongthink by the censors because it presents an oppositional narrative."

~

We are fortunate to have this site to fight for "oppositional narrative". There are many links
the resident scribes post here to expose corporate and governmental censorship efforts.

Recently came across this article by Mike Benz at the Foundation For Freedom Online
regarding USAID's 2021 publication "Disinformation Primer".

USAID1.png

Some of the Orwellian concepts therein --

- “prebunking” (i.e., psychological inoculation)
- pushing the need to censor their formation of “interpretations of the world that differ from ‘mainstream’ sources” and interrupting the process by which “individuals contribute their own ‘research'” to collectively form their own “populist expertise.”
- USAID targets citizens who engage in “casting doubt on media”
- Because traditional information systems are failing, some opinion leaders are casting doubt on media, which, in turn, impacts USAID programming and funding choices.
- “Media literacy” is the idea of psychologically training citizens not to trust or access certain types of establishment-disfavored media.
- ... in schools in an effort to pre-bias children against certain information sources.

A beautiful early spring day here. 50's with sunshine and little wind.

I know we are a small political blog, but it is still an effective salve to
counter the malformation pandemic being orchestrated by the big
players. Forget psychological inoculation. Regular doses of vitamin T
(truth) is more effective.

Benz has been throwing some truth bombs around. He better watch his back.

An inch of rain yesterday. Clouds are due to break and temps climb to 70F.

Trade day was sparse, but saw some old friends browsing around.

Thanks for handling the OT and a reminder this job could be yours...many of us can help if anyone has an interest!

Seriously I’ve long thought that the president was just the CEO of the country, but the oligarchs board members are the ones who decide what happens.

Judge Napolitano: "I told Trump, 'you promised you would release the records of the JFK assassination.' He said to me 'If they showed you what they showed me, you wouldn't have released it either.' I said 'Who's they? What did they show you?' Trump said "Someday when we're not on the phone and there aren't 15 people listening to the call, I'll tell you.'"

Prof. Jeffrey Sachs: "It has been said that after the Kennedy assassination, there has been no president. They have only been factotums of the system since then."

Kids these days know that the corporate media are just stenographers for the government and intelligence agencies and so they turned to tik tok and that’s why congress wants it put under control of someone who can change the message.

Yes our little blog has seen through the many psyops the government has run on us…sadly the last one was very decisive and we lost some good folks. I keep hoping that they will return some day.

@snoopydawg in that film. I was really shocked that withholding quinine shipments to the south during the Civil War was an order signed by Lincoln.
We are far away from the 100 Years War with native Americans, but Lincoln, not so much. He was aware about smallpox infected blankets getting rid of the natives.
Maybe he was not the nice guy I imagined.
Our government doesn't have a great legacy on bioweapons.

because, while the "smallpox blankets" legend has been widely disseminated and believed, there is no primary evidence for their use as a deliberate policy by the United States government.

There is anecdotal evidence for their possible use by soldiers of His Majesty's Colonial Government at Fort Pitt (Pittsburgh) in 1763, but the issue is clouded by records that show smallpox was already endemic across the region, as well as by the absence of any direct order from or to anyone. (The idea was certainly contemplated in an exchange of letters between Colonel Henry Bouquet and his superior, Sir Jeffery Amherst, but there is no evidence that any orders ensued. And neither Bouquet nor Amherst was actually at Fort Pitt.)

The most devastating smallpox epidemic, in 1837-38, has been widely mythologized as an example of deliberate US government policy...but almost all the "evidence" for this claim has been disproved and debunked. The responsibility has been fixed on one pigheaded and/or greedy riverboat captain, who refused to delay or turn back once smallpox had broken out aboard ship (possibly contracted in St. Louis, where there was a local outbreak about that time). And far from "spreading" the disease, the local government officials attempted an aggressive vaccination program intended to halt the epidemic (with, sad to say, limited success).

(Lincoln, at the time, was serving in the Illinois House of Representatives and had nothing to do with the situation - may not have heard about it until much later. There are no reliable reports of "smallpox blankets" from the Dakota War of 1862, though its ruthless suppression does not resound to anyone's credit.)

Andy Jackson didn't need any "smallpox blankets" to order the uprooting and deportation of the Cherokee and related tribes from the Southeastern US to Oklahoma Territory. The Supreme Court advised him not to, but he blew them off. (What's worse, his successor, Martin Van Buren, continued the policy of "Indian removal" even though it was within his power to delay or reverse it.)

the less impressed I am. He committed many war crimes and crimes against humanity. Withholding drugs to the south was just the tip of the iceberg. Letting Sherman burn out families that were mostly women and children. And what happened to the confederate soldiers after the war ended compared to how the north was treated?

But the biggest takeaway from the video is how Fauci and world leaders lied about HCQ and how they deliberately let people die so the numbers would go up and scare people into getting jabbed. The ivermectin trials were just as bogus as are the studies on long Covid. Unless they detail who was jabbed and who wasn’t I dismiss any study on it.

And let’s not forget that about a year ago we were told all the dangerous things that could cause heart attacks. Gardening. Watching tv. A scary movie. Too hot of showers…you know things that never caused them before.

They're usually the worst of the worst because they become two gangs fighting over the same territory.

You do have to remember, though, that the Geneva Conventions are fundamentally a mid-20th century innovation, and the only earlier constraints upon warfare were the consciences (if they had any) of the leaders and, occasionally, declarations from the Pope.

A society hostile to truth can’t possibly remain civilized, because it will also be hostile to reality. That appears to be the disposition of the people running things in the USA these days. The problem, of course, is that this is not a reality-optional world, despite the wishes of many Americans (and other peoples of Western Civ) who wish it would be.

Monday is opening arguments in the trial against Biden’s censorship and whether the 1st amendment is still law of the land. One court already ruled against Biden, but another one gutted the court’s decision and so it’s up to the Supremes to rule on this vital amendment. They already screwed the pooch when they okayed citizens united. As Carter said, it made America an oligarchy.

Sam is grounded inside again. I let her out this morning and she went right to the fence and hopped over it. She got a good hollering at and she acted like she was sorry, but I’m not buying it.
I like to drive around a bit after our walk and I saw the damn dawg that keeps coming into the yard and I talked to the neighbors about it. They said they will tell me owner, but I’m pretty sure she knows that her dawg keeps getting out. How can she not?

She is a good dawg most of the time and I don’t remember what made me angry last time it’s been so long. Until I can get the fence fixed I thought of putting her on a rope. But the backyard is such a mess right now because of a week of bad winds there are sticks and limbs everywhere and she’d get tangled up in them. We have a few more days of east winds and then I can call someone to clean it up…damn it’s always something ain’t it?

She knows that I’m ticked off because she has brought me 8 toys. Lol…she is such a card.

Thanks for the OT QMS!

Ya know, he said preaching to choir...

If ones acts were pure of intent, and truly righteous, it would not dawn on one for a need to control the media, or what was said about you and your actions. It is only being nefarious, deceptive, and dishonest, that requires control of the media.

What they call media literacy is really 100% succumbed to propaganda without critical thought.

The Tik Tok bill criminalizes using VPN's to access black-listed websites, as chosen by an unelected body of ministers of truth.

...in order to Max profits in western markets. The US then turns around and smears China, accusing China of spying on Americans. China responded mildly, telling the US that their their constant lying and breaking promises is harming the US' reputation throughout the world.

Those who keep up recall that China wanted to use Google in their own internet, but Google refused to disconnect the modules that scrape personal data from users (which is ubiquitous in the US). So, Google departed China, and China had to build their own search tool from scratch, which it did. The People's Republic does not allow data exploitation of the Chinese people by businesses. Such exploitation is also highly restricted in the EU.

In other news, China just broke the speed record for human looking robots. I guess that's a 'thing.'
