Rest in Peace, Tahoebasha
Barbara Murphy, who many of us knew as Tahoebasha, passed away on the afternoon of November 1. Tahoe's online activism began on Conyersblog in 2005, where we became close friends. She posted often on Docudharma in the early years of that wonderful progressive website and was a strong and inspiring voice for peace, justice, and equality on Daily Kos and Firedoglake and Facebook.
I will miss you, Tahoe. Every friend you made during your years of activism on progressive websites will miss you.
We will keep the Light of progressive values shining, you would want us to do that and we are going to do that.
We'll break down the prison walls of injustice, they are going to come down, every damn one of them, and you'll be in our hearts every day as we bring them down.
And we'll all walk hand in hand into a better world . . .

Aw jeez, Rusty...
so sorry to hear that. What a good, dear person she was. She was one of my favorites at Docudharma and then over at peef's site. I went out of my way to find her email addy and invited her here several months ago, she did finally join with the username TahoeStill. She didn't participate much but brightened my day when she did show here.
Sad, sad day, RIP Tahoe.
Thanks Rusty, I knew you were very close with her.
She loved c99.
Tahoe was so active in so many ways that she couldn't post here as often as she would have liked. I know she would have appreciated your kind words about her, she brightened my day every time we interacted.
Blessings for peace... n/t

Very sad, Rusty
Smart, funny... tahoebasha was awesome.
The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?
A beautiful image, thank you, NHK.
It kind of looks like three Night Owls, saying farewell to Tahoe.
I am so sorry for your loss, Rusty.
She made an impact, will always be remembered and sorely missed.

She had so many online friends, and was so supportive,
she was always there for us with words of encouragement when we were feeling down.
Thank you, on the cusp.
hugs. That's all I got.

I loved the way Tahoe discussed issues from her heart, bringing warmth and enthusiasm to all of our conversations. Always shining a light of truth, her dedication and activism made the world a better place.
Thank you for your beautiful tribute, Rusty.
I loved that about her too.
I'll always remember our time together at Soapbox4Truth.
Thank you, Phoeline, for your kind words about our friend Tahoe.
