Assignment - getting out of the comfort zone

This one is a bit different as it is very much photographer as opposed to photograph based. Just post anything that is out of your usual range of subject matter. Of course the assignment is completely optional and feel free to post anything at all, images, text, or any combination of the two.

of the black tires is a wonderful contrast from the bodies of the mopeds which look like they could be sculpted from sherbet. What a variety, in the other three! Are those piano pedals behind the coffee cup? Awesome photo, man.

Am away from storage drives but have some shots here on the laptop of subjects definitely out of my comfort zone: a wolf spider, an orb spider and a paper wasp nest with some young 'uns in larval stage. Spiders are difficult to shoot since they quickly flee from the camera, oddly the wasps are much more cooperative and tolerant.

stunning macros - you are braver than me. I have a small wasp nest in a bell by our back door that I am trying to work up the courage to tackle - apparently late season ones are more tricky than early ones.

I haven't seen many good shots of funnel web spiders - yours is wonderful. Aren't they very poisonous? We have brown recluse's here and I've had a couple of close calls with them -latest being watching one crawl out of a gardening glove that I was just about to put on.
