Peace Chant

Some of you may remember my messing around with a peace song some years ago. It is for my personal use, but others may find it helpful as well.

Cheers! Have a great weekend. I-m so happy

I would rather praise peace than thank a soldier for their service.
Just wonderful, mhagle!

the brain is jamming to the ideas in these tunes

like the right-on principal
maybe kids could learn this rather than
rote diversions ..

Thank you for the Peace Chant mhagle, I still have a copy you uploaded a couple of wars ago. It is a good influence on my heart and mind, and others too I think. Yay!

Make dirt, not war! Plant the seeds.

It's a beautiful composition, with heart throbbing rhythms and peaceful sadness.

This piece always brings me a sense of peace and comfort ...

Peace chants are needed. Here & Now. It's kind of imperative it seems to me.
And yours is beautifully rendered. Much appreciated.

The Peace of Wild Things

Wendell Berry

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

I finally had a chance this afternoon to enjoy them and the music. I made the music into a YouTube playlist to continue to enjoy.
