Funk the news, funk the Internet, funk the talking heads, funk the politicians, funk the bankers, funk the tycoons and some funk for you!
Time for the funkin' discussion to focus on the class based tribalism and politics of division practiced by our so called leaders.
I would have been considered a boisterous youth, who did plenty of partying. I crossed paths with the funkin' entitled prick type guys. I know you. I despise you. Always funkin' have.
What can we funkin' do?
Just funkin' sayin'.
So, put your hands on the computer and give me a funkin' Amen!
Here we funkin' go again, funkin' getting down!
That's all I funkin' have.
Have a great funkin' weekend!
Gimme a break, the thread is funkin' OPEN.

Funkin Amen!
Gotta short volunteer gig this morning at the local arts council doing a little gallery sitting so that the paid help can run errands. Then company is coming in this afternoon for the fourth Friday gallery walk this evening. Always a good time with the downtown hopping. We'll end up at a Mexican restaurant for dinner and cerveza.
I hope you have a great weekend too, Tim!

Good morning, Tim ~~~
It's finally Friday, yippee! What a week it has been. I better get to reading 1984 for the umpteenth time to get ready for the end of our world as we know it. The Senate is about to seal our fate. Funkin bastids!
That underground shelter is looking better every day!
Have a beautiful day and weekend, folks!

There is something about Kavanaugh

He’s upset that someone
broke the “what happens here stays here” code of silence. The donkeybutt thought he was going to sail right through. After all, he was part of “the club.” He triggers me, too.

Dont trust them for a second.
They want to seat him at all costs and will. It will cost all of us dearly.

Kavanaugh gives me the creeps
On Kavanaugh, it is so much more than just the sexual assault allegations. The guy is in his fifties and cannot manage his finances as well as his horrible positions on the big issues, especially Rowe versus Wade and corporate power. And now as of yesterday, he does not exhibit what I would call judicial temperament and apparently not temperance either.

A prof tells truth about Syria on MSNBC, and panelists look glum
Then they immediately swivel back to The Narrative, getting an admiral to say it’s just “fatigue” — people who want to get out of Syria are just being emotional.

Also an important reminder about just how trustworthy Russiagate special prosecutor Robert Mueller is.
Hola compadres. Albuquerque dawn here. On the road soon.
Happy funk day a todos. Thanks for the OT, tim.

What can we funkin do?
Heh. I hope more people start seriously asking that. I think we have to take away their power, which regardless what people think about the deep state, is secured through our political system, specifically the two major political parties, i.e., the duopoly. That means organizing to seriously and genuinely oppose the duopoly. There are other options to consider also, like organizing for a national referendum system and other changes to the current political system.
I do know that following the bouncing red ball (like now with the Kavanaugh hearings) is not going to do the trick.
I'm still with you, Al.
Nothing makes more sense than that. Period.

Modern education is little more than toeing the line for the capitalist pigs.
Guerrilla Liberalism won't liberate the US or the world from the iron fist of capital.
While the country has been riveted by the Kavanaugh
brouhaha, House Republicans voted our overlords a three trillion dollar tax cut in addition to the tax cut already passed. See Common Dreams, “With Nation Transfixed by Kavanaugh Monstrosity, House GOP Votes to Give Rich Another $3 Trillion in Tax Cuts” by Jake Johnson.
Whenever we see smoke and mirrors, we need to watch the man behind the curtain.
