The sublimation of the population continues. The Cambridge Analytica and Facebook actions making it into the mind control project news is not exactly a revelation. Critical thinkers have recognized the reality control project all along. The rest of the sheeple can just go back to watching television and checking Facebook. At least there will be seats at the bar, that's what I am funkin' say.

Hi, NCTim and other Caucusers. It's almost New Year's Day!
For astrologers, druids and others, the vernal equinox starts the year. (I forgot to mention that when I made my spring equinox post, but I made that post a day late anyway.)
In colonial times, when the anti-Papists still resisted the Gregorian calendar, the year, per the Julian calendar, started on March 25. So, even though Paul Revere was born on January 1, he didn't celebrate New Year's Day and his birthday on the same day.
The good news is that you get three shots per calendar year at New Year's Day, one in January, when Ancient Roman elected officials took office, one on the vernal equinox, and one on March 25. So...if you weren't happy about New Year's Eve 2017, you get another shot at it tomorrow. And, if you don't like how 2018 began for you, you get another shot at New Year's Day this Sunday, so start making those Colonial New Year's Resolutions!
More colonial trivia: Revere's first wife died birthing their eighth child, whereupon Revere married their housekeeper and had eight children with her. If my first wife had died in childbirth, I may have thought twice before knocking up my second wife eight times. BTW, Revere's home had only two bedrooms, one for him and the missus du jour and one for his mom. The kids slept dorm style in the attic. (Must have been fun in the summer, without even an electric fan, but maybe the kids would sleep outside in the summer?)

Two of Revere's daughters married Lincoln boys, making Abe Lincoln a very distant relative of the Reveres, something of which Abe was likely unaware. Originally, Abe was even unaware that he was related to the Massachusetts Lincolns, to whom he once referred as a very fine family to which he was not related. He did, however, eventually learn of the connection. Coincidentally, Abe issued the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, the anniversary of the birth of Abe's very distant relative by marriage,Paul Revere.
BTW, Jack Black bears a striking resemblance to Paul Revere, IMO, but may be unaware of that.
Anyway... Happy Colonial New Year, y'all. And, if you drink on Colonial New Year's Eve, don't drive!
Heya! Raining and storming for weeks now, but allegedly will
be dry today and is so far. We can ergo get in some quick outside work (maybe). Have to start planning next week's meals too (my wife and I alternate weeks planning and cooking dinner). Thanks mucho for the tunes and OT, Tim, something to listen too while doing stuff, though I need to perfect my techniques for doing so. Good project for a Friday. Oops, looks like the laundry sink has a faucet leak, time to get up and going.

At the time of the actual Anita Hill hearings
I was barely out of my teens and knew very few of the details. As the years passed I learned more, but Biden's role in smearing Hill's name was not clear to me until I caught a movie on Netflix about the hearings. Made my skin crawl. I was so furious and disgusted I couldn't even finish watching the movie.
May there be a special place in hell for all the men who took part in publicly maligning a women who turned out to be the only one involved in that fiasco with integrity.

Looks like we are going to war. Don't know what to do about it.
Maybe stock up on dry goods( food or barter). Ammo( protection or barter). Or silver coins(slingshot or barter). Toilet paper, can't forget toilet paper( crying or barter). Just don't know.
The American people have absolutly no control anymore. We have become simply, "The Workforce". "The Source of Revenue". "The Cannon Fodder".
We're not even "The Deplorables" any longer, we've graduated to "The Expendables".
Speaking of graduating, the grandaughter is graduating from Western Oregon U. early so I have to go move her out of her apartment tomorrow.
She's coming home to her mom's trailer and going to work at a local coffee shop.
I do hope she puts that degree to good use. It cost me thousands of dollars to get her through without any college debt left over.
It would be a real shame if the world ends before she even gets to spread her wings.
On the plus side, I won't have to fund the other six grandkids through college.
