Once upon the time this blog was a place

where lost folks, who thought of themselves as left leaning, socialist leaning, and free wheeling artists, found a home. It feels as if is not anymore the case. Just my personal opinion and might be my very own bias. YMMV. Lots of voices have gone. Sadly so.
It's a long time that I miss voices, who represent those:
So, here is one I would like to be here to listen to. Here is a podcast from a Paul Jay interview with Bill Black.
Bill Black: Cities Face Catastrophe; Finance a Cancer on Real Economy - June 8, 2020
There is a transcript to this interview.
Take care, stay safe and hopefully healthy.

I enjoyed that interview...
...and the one with Michael Hudson a week or so ago. I linked both in the WW this week.
As a teacher you get used to losing your batch of students this time of year. The world is so volatile now, people have more on their plates than politics and blogging. None the less C99 is still a nice community and good place to learn and grow.
Hope all is well in your world!
PS speaking of old voices have you been visiting https://scheerpost.com/
“Until justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
oh yes, I go to scheerpost regularly now.
and yes, C99p is still my daily rescue plank to cling to if everything goes beyond my understanding or when my nerves just block my mind and is blank.
I know how everybody has too much on his/her plate these days and I know that I have nothing to complain about. I am in a nice green cage here in Germany, but that means no one can come and get me too. And inside my cage I have to do so many things, that I barely read anything here anymore. I hope for more time to do things that make sense and not things that are ... too much to not lose my mind over every so often. Just personal stuff.
When will we be able to travel again to the US? I hope so soon.
"See" you in the US one day...
Have a good day and thanks.

yes, voices are being dropped out
damn shame. think management is at a loss as to how to 'control' the voices here.
would very much like to continue participation, but have been shouted down too often
for my ignoble ways. got the hint, time to move on. gonna miss y'all.
Huh? How so? I haven't noticed, but I'm not overly perceptive
either. Message me.
