US Sends Ground Troops, Drones to Cameroon
Open-Ended Mission to Stop 'Anti-Colonial Movement'
Invoking the War Powers Act, President Obama informed Congress today that he is deploying 300 ground troops and drones to the West African nation of Cameroon on a mission aimed at helping governments tamp down a “regional Muslim anti-colonial movement.”
The White House says the deployment is going to be part of “a broader regional effort” and that the mission is totally open-ended, with the troops to remain until they are “no longer needed” in the country, though as usual they declined to lay out what this situation would look like.

In the coming episode, Congress will sleep through its obligation to authorize or put an end to Obama's excellent adventure hunting for brown people to bomb in Cameroon!

He may have kept more of our soldiers out of the ground wars, but he's killed plenty of innocent civilians in other countries.
The drone whistle leak story was on the rec list briefly, then it slid off.
On my right wing website, most of the comments were in favor of Obama using drones. They could care less how many innocent civilians get killed each time he drops a bomb.
God, what a disappointment he is is an understatement.

Believe me, there are more worse effective worst presidents and politicians in the world.
They just don't have as many weapons and drones and serfs they can command around to do their bidding. Even an effective evil will run out of steam one day and the world goes on and people forget all about it, because they all die one day or another. What I am more bothered about is that Obama doesn't seem to be self-critical about his own decisions. Words alone don't make the world go round. But he acts as if that were just like that. Too many light-weight words for heavy issues who have a lot of gravitas and impact.

So, how are the 300 US soldier supposedly able to prevent any such suicide bombing? The suicide bombers were "worshippers" in the mosque, undistinguishable from those worshippers, who just may have wanted to live and pray in peace.
There is no "intelligence" in the intelligence of Obama's drone programs or some special forces on the ground. Will not work.
