New Washington shoe fashion craze: these boots aren't made for walking

Hello again, fellow swampers and fashionistas. Your loyal reporter is here to alert you of the new fashion craze sweeping Washington. Normally, I don't pay much attention to shoes but recently my attention has been drawn to a phenomenon deserving of comments. You all know that I welcome your comments (donations to the AU Trust Fund are also appreciated).

Yes, first there was Medusa, aka Evil Queen, who adopted such exclusive footwear in mid-October 2017, ostensibly for a broken toe. She has absolutely become so attached to her new shoe that they are now inseparable.

John McCain, who attempted proof that he is not a sexist, also adopted this shoe craze, allegedly for a torn right Achilles tendon. He still wears the boot, although now on his previously healthy left leg. This must be something akin to Igor's hump in Young Frankenstein which changed from one side to the other.

The next known adoptee is Jackie Speier (D-CA) who, like her idol Hillary, has chosen a right leg boot and proudly shows it off whenever possible. My, my, who will be the next to adopt this new fashion statement?

As the old saying goes: "seeing is believing".

@Bollox Ref given the track record of her overlord, consort, confidant, the Queen of Greed. I am almost certain Huma is happy that the small GPS monitor on her ankle will still permit her to properly genuflect in front of HER Heinous.

I doubt she is still well-heeled (cough) after paying for Carlos Danger's legal bills.

Broke my ankle a few years back whilst walking in a snowstorm. I had absolutely no food in my house so I went to the store right after I broke it. Fun times.

The NYT is working hard to give the FBI cover

after reports came out that the Steele dossier was used to get a FISA warrant to wiretap Trump which had been discussed for over a year. If that was true, it could possibly open a can of whoops on Herheinous' campaign and the Obama administration. Using ones intelligence agencies to get information on the candidate running against that once worked in the administration. Yeah, I can see how that would be a problem.

Anyone hear anything about this before today?

I can't help myself. This is so full of swampy poo and it has taken this country into areas not seen since the 50's. The number of people who buy into this is just astounding when the investigation has been going on for over a year and the only thing that's come from it was Flynn saying that he lied to the FBI about talking to someone in Russia. And that he and Podesta didn't register as foreign lobbyists. One thing Flynn talked about was the upcoming vote on the Israeli settlements. Kushner asked him to try to get Russia to vote against the UN vote. This hasn't been reported by anyone covering this.

This was a setup just so Her could have a reason for losing the election. That was after she claimed all responsibility for her loss.

I'm waiting to see if Rachel's head explodes when this collapses. BTW, there are 4 diaries about the article you linked on ToP. I'm out of free articles on the Times, but for some reason they want me to read this one. I posted a link yesterday in the EBs from MOA's essay on how the Times is covering for the FBI after the GOP started questioning the reason for the Trump wiretap. The amount of time and money spent on this is staggering, IMO. But it was a good distraction from what the republicans were doing.
