"Neither Macron, Nor Le Pen"
Maybe some people are finally starting to get it. When I saw it was going to be Macron vs. Le Pen my first thoughts were about how we're all subjected to this ridiculous human bullshit of selecting one ruling class selected politician or another. Lesser evil voting, "which one do you hate least"? It's all the same. Just like we Americans were just subjected to what had to be one of the greatest farces in recorded history with the election between Clinton and Trump.
"According to the video posted by Sputnik France, the protesters hold banners reading "Neither Macron, nor Le Pen."
Oh how sweet the sound! Kind of like "Neither Clinton, nor Trump". Man, just think if Americans had done that, like twelve months ago. We'll never know if we don't try.
"The call for a protest was launched in the social media networks by anti-fascist and anti-capitalist movements, for instance by the Generation Ingouvernable group, under hash tag #NiLePenNiMacron. According to social media reports, protests against Le Pen and Macron also took place today in other French cities, in particular in Rennes in the northwest of the country."

Well, hindsight is 20/20.
Damn right it is, hindsight can tell you what to do next time. You know, that don't get fooled again thing. And again, and again. Come on. Shit, we've made a mockery of "hindsight is 20/20" when it comes to U.S. national elections.
I hope they keep it up, but we've seen how citizen protests end, and end, and end.
But maybe the idea has been planted. None of the above.
Revolution? France? It's got to start somewhere.

Or like my brother likes to say,
We have proved that
it won't start in America. France looks to be ahead of the game and not afraid to show it. Americans are too busy shopping and using their devices for distraction. The culture has been bred for this response. Herr Drumpf has aroused many from their slumber. Perhaps the example in France will fully awaken us - or at least get us to the next stage.
Stupid American tricks abound.
"The “jumpers” reminded us that one day we will all face only one choice and that is how we will die, not how we will live." Chris Hedges on 9/11
In fact, revolution did start some place. Here.
The shot heard round the world was fired at the battle of Lexington and Concord, both of which are, contrary to Ms. Palin, in Massachusetts. The colonists versus the British army, the best in the world.
The shot was indeed heard round the world. Well, we know it was heard in France, anyway. Our first European allies and emulators, the French, liked the sound so much that they began sharpening their rhetoric (and their guillotine blades).
By 1789, the year we ratified the fruits of our revolution, the Constitution of the United States, les Français were fighting theirs. And, like us, they won. After that, nation after nation gained its independence from its colonizers or native monarchs. The process is not yet complete. However, after that, Al From and Mrs. Clinton went to Europe to sell its leaders on
getting rich onthe pragmatism of neoliberalism.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_FromSo, now that we are this huge nation with a population of about 330 million, instead of underpopulated thirteen colonies clinging to the East Coast, we're looking to the French to teach us how to revolt against the same neoliberalism with which we infected them? Shame on us!
Anyone know the French for "May we borrow a few guillotines?"
This shows the fallacy of jungle primaries
as opposed to rank preference voting. I'm sure many voters would have ranked Macron #4 and Le Pen #5 instead of voting for Macron to block Le Pen.
I've seen lots of changes. What doesn't change is people. Same old hairless apes.
I hate re-runs
But some people will watch the same shit over and over again.
Neither Russia nor China is our enemy.
Neither Iran nor Venezuela are threatening America.
Cuba is a dead horse, stop beating it.
Yup. Never been a fan of 'Vote D to stop R" or the reverse.
It never solves anything and policy wise makes things worse by moving things right off a cliff.
Modern education is little more than toeing the line for the capitalist pigs.
Guerrilla Liberalism won't liberate the US or the world from the iron fist of capital.
So business as usual with Macron,
Or some new fresh hell with Le Pen. Seeing as we are presently cast into purgatory here in the states I have little prespective to offer. And so it goes.. Thats why they call it the future.
