It's become a favorite pastime for us, to select a speech by or interview of some great progressive dissenter to accompany us during a meal.
If only we could get the somnambulant masses addicted to social media self-aggrandizement and a parade of celebrity gossip and manufactured controversy distractions to get connected to a more evolved level of thought and analysis, we could have the world everybody truly wants.
Amen, sister.
Hustling now to get out of the house to relieve ourselves of cabin fever in this frigid week in NYC, taking the babies to the Queens Hall of Science this morning (free admission from 10-11). Will watch the rest later.
The film shows how malfeasance by the National Security Agency played a huge role in failing to prevent 9/11 and how NSA succeeded in covering that up. That’s right; NSA had enough specific intelligence to prevent 9/11. Ultimately, that is the main reason why most Americans have been kept in the dark about “A Good American” since this documentary by Austrian filmmaker Friedrich Moser was released almost three years ago.
The film concludes that despite the differences in country, weapons and other background, the terrorist killers, have very consistent similarities. They have all been "known" by intelligence or FBI or police services, and they have been active on digital media and therefore traceable by the global surveillance system now, unconstitutionally, in place. Why are these terrorist acts not caught in time?
Bill Binney and his associates are in the position to ask and answer these questions.
Several days ago there was another terrorist attack in New York City, as pedestrians and those riding bicycles on a bicycle path were mowed down by a killer driving a rented truck. Once again, the killer was "known" - having gone through two years of vetting for immigration from Uzbekistan, and having shown up at weddings of others being tracked for potential terrorist connections in the United States. He was extremely active on digital media, with very explicit traceable acts including watching ISIS films on his cell phone that detail how to commit terrorist acts.
Was just told by my partner that it is on Netflix now. Would have liked most to be amidst a crowd of fellow truth-seekers.
Alas, there aren't enough hours in the day at this point.

@Mark from Queens
new baby and the other little one, while reading your comment, (I envy you and make in my mind a funny face to the babies to make them smile *yes3*), I thank you for the links. I will definitely pay attention to the movie. Isn't it a shame that I have to be informed about that film by an Austrian filmmaker, live-streamed in Berlin, by an American friend from Queens?
I miss the East Coast folks I met once. Would be nice there would be a sequel to that meeting, wouldn't it? But the planet is just too yuuge and I happen to be always at the wrong end of it.
Nice to see you commenting here again. I am reminded often how much I like your sig. Amen to that one as well. My brother - some forty years ago - was an quality nazi extremist when it came to recording music, which he did as an escape hobby. He recorded with the Hamburger Philharmoniker some serious dudes when it comes to classical music a long, long time ago. I found all his equipment collecting dust in the attic of my childhood home and wonder if one day I will put a studio together and use it to bring back music in my life.
Enjoy the rest of the Sunday and thanks for the kind words.

When Bill Clinton and The DLC walked turned their back on the left they turned their back on everything that is good and decent about America. The heart, soul and moral compass of The Democratic Party was always on the left. It still is.
