Monday OT: April 27 was The End of the Korean War, chortle, snort, lol
Boomtime, Discord 44, 3186 YOLD (Discordian)
And let us not forget 13.0.7.8.4 by the Mayan Long Count
The Korean War technically lasted from Jun 25, 1950 until the Jul 27, 1953 armistice, but the US never really quit or gave up its war against North Korea, which continued to commit the sin of being an unaligned nation, it merely conducted it by other means. GWB even started a consent building narrative operation for a return to armed conflict against North Korea, but got distracted and started a war of aggression with Iraq first, allowing Korea time to build a nuclear deterrent. (GWB was, of course, that US President known as Bush the Lesser, or Bush the Dweeb, prior to the current massive bipartisan push to rehabilitate his reputation and validate his criminality) That, of course led to something of a stalemate, and so the US went after Libya instead.
Manwhile, the 2 Koreas were really tired of all the sturm und drang and on April 27, 2018, entered into the Panmunjom Declaration, officially declaring their intentions to end of the conflict. It hasn't really been their war for a while, and it still isn't, and the odds that the US will let it come to an end are pretty negligible.

In the desert
I saw a creature, naked, bestial,
Who, squatting upon the ground,
Held his heart in his hands,
And ate of it.
I said, “Is it good, friend?”
“It is bitter—bitter,” he answered;“But I like it
“Because it is bitter,
“And because it is my heart.”

Rahm Emanuel’s brother is one of Biden’s healthcare advisors

… and seems to think one’s life ceases to have value when one stops being “productive.”
A doctor and medical ethicist argues life after 75 is not worth living
This is from a healthcare advisor to the supposedly more humane and less economics-obsessed of the duopoly parties? For crying out loud …!
Happily, this coldly utilitarian view (precisely the view of the disdainful town bureaucrat in J.R.R. Tolkien’s novella Leaf by Niggle) is getting some pushback:

Good morning lot. Perhaps somebody might insinuate
that in terms of net public benefit provided (public benefit - public pain, grief and drudgery imposed), a certain pair of brothers are useless and should commit seppuku. Of course, this is the BIGD (tm) squawking, so a big chunk of the populace is required to agree, n'est ce pas? Sheesh.

Good morning
Just back from a trip to town for tractor gas and a tank repair kit (basically an epoxy). It's a little chilly here now, but when it warms I'm going to patch the tractor's gas tank and wait till tomorrow to fill it up and try it out.
NK isn't letting on about their COVID cases...surprise! Stay well out there y'all.
Thanks for the OT and musical variety.
“Until justice rolls down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.”
Good morning Lookoout. Good luck with the tank repair
and remember not to spare the wire brush and sandpaper - I seriously don't envy you that. Our mornings have been consistently low fifties, just cool enough for a light jacket of sweatshirt when venturing out to open the gate and feed the scrub jay.

Sorry for the nitpick.
But Sir Henry 'Hotspur ' Percy was born in 1364.
The current working assumption appears to be that our Shroedinger's Cat system is still alive. But what if we all suspect it's not, and the real problem is we just can't bring ourselves to open the box?
Good morning NotHenry. Nitpicks are always welcome,
as are references to Hotspur and others of that ilk. THIS Percy, however, a descendant, is the Wizard Earl, 9th Earl of Northumberland, an intellectual, respected for his learning and library, who was also implicated in the Gunpowder Plot. He was imprisoned in the Tower for about 16 years for his suspected role in that debacle.

edit - fixed typo in implicated

After #DropoutBiden trended all weekend on Twitter
Nancy Pelosi choose today to endorse him. This was after the CNN Larry King show from '93 when Tara's mom had called in and discussed what Tara had told her was found and went viral.
One of the people high up in Hillary's '16 campaign, Peter Dau spoke out on how Biden should be removed and Bernie should unsuspend his campaign and even let Harris, Warren and others restart their campaigns. Biden does not yet have the delegates needed and who know if the primary will continue for him to get them?

He *has* been chosen, damnit, he will be the candidate,
and all you dirty sniveling little ultra far-left liberal extremist snots better damn well vote for him or else the horrible Trumpenstein monster will do horrible, evil, greater evil, that is, things beyond your imagining. Got that, wretch? You fucking deplorables better fucking get in line this time or we'll have to ignore everything you say and want
like we always have before and would have anyway.be well and have a good one

Yep pretty much that
Here she is lying about Joe's history. And ignoring the allegations against him Of course it is not only the Reade ones, but 7 other women have said that he made them uncomfortable when he touched and fondled them. Plus there are numerous videos of him with young girls. This is what makes his campaign statement that there has been no evidence of Joe being inappropriate with women. Sure...
Pure unadulterated bullshit, Nancy. You know it. We know it.
[video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIUlC4TyGW0]
Will Dr. Jill be in a role like Nancy Reagan was when Ronnie had his mental health issues? Will we be seeing astrology back in the WH? But for her to do this after what happened after the King video came out all weekend is just hubris and shows their disdain for the working class. So I am guess they won't take up Dau's ideas and will stay with Joe. BTW I read that the odds of Hillary getting the nomination are going up. Yippee! Hmm something about if you have to cheat twice to win...

Guess where this is considered CT?
#Believeallwomen unless....
I get why some are questioning that statement. However Dr. Ford had less evidence against Kavanaugh, but her allegations were taken much more seriously that Tara's have been. And the people that were totally behind Ford are making fun of Tara's looks and calling her a Russian asset and a Putin lover. Only one person out of 200 questioned if that is what the site now stands for. No answer when I last looked.

Ooooh!
I guess I should've given S.F.B. Morse a shout out too --

Good morning, el ~~
I didn't realize the effect dropping myself from the voter rolls would have on me. When I skim through the political diaries here, they are meaningless to me anymore, which is very freeing. I could care less what game they are playing because I choose not to play. Again - this surprised me as to what was a very freeing move on my part!!!
On that note, let me say that I can now concentrate on shifting to the new consciousness because I don't have crappy politics clouding my thinking. We are moving toward an understanding of one anothers differences and not getting upset about it. We must work together and bring about a unity of consciousness.
This can be difficult, because we are currently in a state of chaos. The medical system is failing, the economic system has failed, and our government continues to fail us. We must go with this chaos and embrace it. What will the tipping point be? How many will survive until the tipping point? Inquiring minds are curious but that's the fun of the shift we are experiencing.
This is the time to remake ourselves. Stay out of panic, stay in the present moment.Think on your feet, be light on your feet, tune into the higher mind. Live in love.
Have a beautiful day, everyone!

Good afternoon RA. Peace and clarity do benefit from
becoming apolitical, for sure. There was a time when it was oft asserted that "everything is political", but that was an entirely different usage of the word, arguably a completely different word.
Thanks for reading

Good afternoon magi, gardening sounds like the answer and
a great way to spend ones time and energy, as well as to recharge. Busy with a ton of personal hurry-scurry at the moment, buy any day now. Heh.
I see him as Hillary in pants, though, of course, she too wore them.
