Childhood's End
Except those 'Lizard People' are still in control.
Morning EL and all!
I'd put some Willem de Kooning up here but abstract expressionism leaves me kinda Meh..
Have a good one all.
I want a Pony!
Good morning, Arrow, good to see you. Some abstract
expressionism hits the spot, much of it doesn't. Sometimes a brick wall can also trigger things. Sometimes conceptual art things, but I'm unschooled and uneducated in thw whole thing.
On a tablet away from home and mouseless. Have to get up to speed for the spring desert trip, though, so I guess it's all good. Have a great day.

Ostara
Some calendars denote (around) this time as the celebration of Eostre, the goddess of dawn. This is one of the eight festivals in the wheel of the year. It coincides with the spring equinox.
question everything
Good morning, QMS. Eostre, for sure. Vernal equinox, iirc. Of
course, I'm not sure when that is. A quick peek at der googly says that it is tomorrow. Of course, the christers coopted it, and then tried to pretend it was a real date, other than the equinox, but then stupidly tied it to some non=pagan lunar holiday, so it floats and is hence clearly not a real date. Arrrgh.
Have a great day.

Morning, el, been a long time since i thought of
"Portnoy's Complaint."
Thanks for the OT and music.
Have a safe journey and if i miss you, enjoy those Spring blossoms in the desert.
A-great-day to all.
Good morning, smiley7. This is just a quickie overnight to
Sonoma, the desert trip is weeks away. Portnoy's complaint isn't something most would think of often I would think. I also think you have to meet certain age requirements to evn recognize the author and make that association,

I never did like liver.
Where you goin' on your desert trip ?
We wanted decent healthcare, a living wage and free college.
The Democrats gave us Biden and war instead.
We cross over at Tehachipi and ramble down 247 out of Barstow
to Indio, park the trailer and roam for a few days, then go down to Anza Borrego Desert State Park, set up the trailer at Palm Canyon and roam around for about a week, then we make it over to the coast via Santee, Pomona and Fillmore, stay a while at El Capitan State Beach, then up to Morro Bay, for a while and then back home. It's pretty much sos for us, sometimes we detour up to Red Rock Canyon State Park or over to J-Tree. The "ramble" portions aren't pre-planned, so we could go just about anywhere south of 40 and west of the Colorado as whim takes us.
