Midnight Mulling - Random vs Random

"Orange" and their rhymes - so many good options! Why there's ...uh ... well there could ... no ... about ...

Face it, sometimes nothing works in one particular direction. Whether it's rhymes or a new subject to opine about, sometimes you need a new direction. And you have some pride, so you don't want to regurgitate last weeks leftovers. (At least two weeks for that sort of thing.)

I have the perfect word for you, "random" - or - if you prefer: "Random!" Here are three random generators,
Boardgamizer's "Theme Idea Generator" - http://www.boardgamizer.com/themes
TVTropes "Story Generator" - http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/storygen.php
and
Something to find on our own during the writing of this essay

Boardgamizer's "Theme Idea Generator" had several choices - often coupling two or three unknown (to each other) terms. But the pair that caught my eye was, "Dragons" and "Locomotives."

...and another Scotland theme:

Both clips should lead to other clips; more "I Love Lucy" after its clip one; and a poem by W.H. Auden with music by Benjamin Britten, for "Night Mail's" clip three.

And that is that, for this evening.

Soon: TVTropes and its result. And Something Else! What do you think it is? Could it be your random idea?

Is 7 kinder than 8?

As for tonight's essay, clip 3 of "Night Mail" starts the music and verse around 3 minutes in. I think it's worth the time, but I'm biased --grin--

Strange that a harp of thousand strings should keep in tune so long

Hollywood History,
Teach Him Anger,
I have your Wife
Villain was "Lucky Bastard"

Felt almost autobiographical if I'd chosen to be an asshole about my marriage breaking up...

I do not pretend I know what I do not know.

That site can catch you - very addictive.
