The daily BS national news broadcast sounded
like pro-mos for drug companies. Everyone took great pains to mention the names of drug companies in conjunction with potential drugs to be used to treat COVID19. GRRR

Sound advice.
If he is overreacting, those measures hurt no one. If he is right, we may save lives.
My professional experience in Nebraska
supports the notion that Dr. Daniel W Johnson is in fact right and not overreacting.
Not only do I trust them with my life, but with my family members' lives as well. But · · · As usual: Your Mileage May Vary.

Maybe a chance
Thanks so much for the link to Dr. Johnson's message. As it's coming from Nebraska, I am hoping my relatives in Kansas will finally pay attention. I'm going to send them the link. They believe little that comes from the main news media and nothing that comes from the coasts. Every last one of them are at risk, especially my parents (both 90+) and a brother (early 60s) with COPD.
I try to stay optimistic.
I found the professionals of the midwest to have a "grounded" way about them. They just seemed to be "connected" for the lack of a better word.
I hope all turns out well for you and yours.

You have a different idea of fun than I do
But thanks for that first link. I’m trying to get this message through to my Fox News watching, and extremely vulnerable, mother with little effect. (Though when the state closed dine in restaurants, that got her attention.) Maybe that link will help.
Idolizing a politician is like believing the stripper really likes you.
A twisted sense of humour
comes from many years of dealing with the bleeding edge of modern science, extremely talented young colleagues, and recalcitrant administrators.
