I'd really like to see this video,
but all I get is a blank black screen. I'll try going to you tube directly.

Thanks Katie,
for sharing one mans endeavour to sustain the world, who worries about its fate.
When I was young...
I lived in a development that was fairly new and had few trees in the yards...
A short distance away there was an abandoned sand & gravel pit that was growing back in, reforesting itself. I found many small white birch trees, and the easy digging had me decide to dig some up for transplanting...
I'd haul them back to the neighborhood and for $10 I offered to plant a tree in their yard with a guarantee that it wouldn't die, or I'd give them another one. The transplanting from the sandy soil into rich top soil, and watering, made sure that I never had to replace a single one...
Today when I visit my mother, I no longer see a development barren of trees, but my birch trees in many of the yards of my customers 50 years later...

$10
For a "pre-teen" in the 1960's wasn't bad money either...
