I'm Here, I'm the Queen, and I Call It
So how lucky can you little bloggers be that I have arrived at your little blog?
And how can I proclaim myself Queen?
I call it.
I am bringing back the age-old most primal power play in the book.
I encountered it as a child and frankly haven't found anything more ubiquitous in our grand culture.
I shall give an example.
I was probably around 7 or so, and my brother was around 13. We were playing Monopoly and I was winning.
Suddenly he overturned the entire board and said "I win! I call it!"
Well, first, I was sort of delighted, as kids are, with the utter anarchy of what he did. It was refreshing.
And I was also so stunned I couldn't come up with a reply. So he pretty much did win and he did call it successfully.
So I call it for being Queen. I doubt anyone else has demanded the role so too bad, Suckers!
This is my first post here so I have no idea if it'll break or I'll just take up the whole page with my super fabulous brilliance.
I also demand each and every poster here set up an account so I can be paid $225,000 for each and every post I post here and that includes comments.

I'm just on this ride with Bernie and the Revolution and I'm not questioning it any more. I am learning to live with having no idea what will happen and trying not to project my own hopes and fears upon this amazing phenomenon that is Bernie Sanders.
It's for sure an emotional rollercoaster.

The article is from Fairness and Accuracy In Reporting (FAIR) and reminds us that only 40% of people read beyond the headlines, which are highly inflammatory negative toward Bernie. In my view this doesn't get talked about enough. Headlines more and more are being manipulated with thought that in the social media age people are just relentless scrolling their feeds. Instead of absorbing full comprehension of an article are just skimming lots and lots of headlines.
As the primary goes on it's obvious the PTB are getting more nervous about the insurgent Sanders, who made one of the bravest statements a politician has ever uttered in a presidential campaign, "the business model of Wall St is fraud." He's similarly criticizing the media for their obfuscation tactics, omissions and manufactured controversy, and for sure will continue to remind the public of how they're being manipulated by big corporate media.

I'm telling
As a 7 year old I used to pick fights with 10 year olds. When my mum saw the bruises she called the school principal and all hell broke loose and nobody messed with me again. It really doesn't take that many thrashings to get control, but you do have to have a powerful mum. I remember a girl picked a fight with me - she had just got out of the hospital and had stitches. Well, I didn't know anything about that. She thought she was safe because 1) she was a girl and 2) she had stitches in her belly. Loser. I had two older sisters and an older brother and they never expected me to hold back. OK, principal took her side and I got the strap. You could get up to 6. I was just a 7 year old, so he gave me 2 whacks, then asked if it shouldn't be 4. I looked him in the eye and said 4. Loser. I was a wee Trump needing to get my self esteem in order.
I got over it. Now I am 61 I step in the middle and just talk. It all comes down to sharing in the end. And respect. And caring. Those were not happy times when I was 7. Now I care and life is much happier.

A little more to it
We moved to a new small community when I was 7. I was the youngest of 4 kids and the school only had 100 students aged 5 to 12. Our family were 4% of the kids from day 0ne. Anyway, mum had already had her nervous breakdown. Try having your first two kids with no indoor plumbing or electricity, then having two more with a husband away a lot with work. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. My mum was always on my side as I never started it. Well, almost never.

Along with Bernie came a whole host of issues that are interesting to have conversations about.

I never left completely phsically
as I'm a political junkie. But I have spent years roaming the net looking for some community humanistic sane relief in a format that didn't tweak my Luddite brain. I have been like a dog with a bone that won't let go of it. Other then railing against the duopolies ongoing long running kabuki partisan show I pretty much gave up on partisan politics. Like you Bernie sucked me back in. It's still not for me about the candidate but about the amazing movement of people and concepts of democracy that never died, even after being bait and switched by the New Democratic Trojan Horse I supported and worked for. Once bitten twice shy but still the brave of heart people possess kept beating and said enough is enough! So here I am still titling at fake queens and kings and yet keeping in mind the larger power plays that pull the strings and proclaim they are inevitable and the way of the world at large and is the only realty that's inevitable.
The Red Queen has spoken often and yet Alice and I cannot make sense of her lessons...
