Thanks, I hadn't heard about this. Obama may be a TPP-pushing traitor and civilian-killer in many countries who ought to be tried along with the entire Bush admin and the Clintons as a war criminals/traitors/etc., but I don't like to think of his, or even worse, his family being placed at risk of the sort of assignation/'regime change' I don't approve of anyone doing in other people's countries.

On the plus side, this shows exactly how little concern there is about actual, real terrorist activity in America that there is so little official concern displayed about this. So all of the privatized invasion-of-privacy crap infringing on American citizen's rights and freedoms can be dropped now.

Kinda surprised this topic isn't more active/outraged - after all, it shows how widespread a security risk is related to a complete lack of respect in public officials for rules and regs when there are claims that 'they are above the law', as is not actually possible in a democracy.

As opposed to how brutally claims of 'national security' are applied to the public when they are to be kept in the dark about public business as a democracy is illicitly converted into fascism and the corporations/billionaires become confident that there is nothing the people can do but knuckle under to all abuses and rapidly perish with their civilization and ecology, barring an otherwise avoidable bloody global revolution against a global war machine created at their expense and over their protests. Shows why Bernie was willing to risk his life-long reputation to keep open a desperate chance of the survival of the concept of democracy, (long-fading/carefully distorted in the US,) of humanity and of life on the planet, before the false claim is made - and enforced - that global law comes exclusively from a corporate/billionaire court in the interests of their maximized profits and totalitarian power only, as is planned to be established by Obama and Congress in November or whenever the TPP (and the Fast-Tracked others automatically passing thereafter) is shoved through, to be ratified by the next President (barring a Bernie miracle or Jill Stein) and a majority-corrupt Supreme Court which has already been mangling their interpretation of a perfectly good Constitution for decades, creating a push for opening it for unnecessary Amendments - giving the opportunity for it to be altered to yet another unconstitutional corporate/billionaire agreement.

Hillary has already stated that she will push the corporate-friendly Republican Supreme Court candidate Obama has ready for the 'legal' dismantling of the US Constitution they must swear to defend to in order to legally hold office, has already not only widely shared legitimately secret State business - risking many lives - with nobody knows how many others but, for example, as Secretary of State placed a unqualified hedge fund manager (if I recall correctly) on a nuclear board for (trustworthy) experts only, so that he could profit by it - because rules, laws and reality somehow do not apply to them and the 'little people' are expendable chattels and don't matter wherever increased profits for The Right People at the expense of others may obtain.

Why should those so insanely sacrificing not only their own Constitution, country and people to greed but life on the Earth - forming the life-support system supporting life - to all perish, along with the oxygen supply, in the very near future in this case, have any real care about 'national security' or the misery, health and lives of those they regard as their prey, when they are too ignorant to understand the results - or the looming immediacy of their appearance - that will not be worth surviving even for them, once they've destroyed the very ground they stand on, the potable water they depend upon and the very air they breathe?

Or once they've starting flinging nukes around at other people's countries and those other people?

Ignorance is also blitzed. Even if indirectly, through global radiation levels and nuclear winter.
