How reliable is it, though? It’s not a scientific poll, just a straw poll of dKos’s many readers. On the other hand, a lot of readers participated — 35,000. And Dave Weigel is right that Kos’s audience seems to be broader than just the left-most niche of the party. Lots of progressives there, of course, but also plenty of “just win, baby” Democrats who look like they’d tolerate a more centrist nominee if they thought he/she could beat Trump.

I recently read a thing that said she's a strong candidate because she'll likely win "the endorsement primary", which will then make her a frontrunner in the polls. I read that as "nobody likes her but she's going to be shoved down your throats so you better get in line"

Nobody seems to be able to suggest why they supposedly like her beyond Identity Politics marketing and that she was “a great prosecutor,” at which point I always post links about her refusal to go after Steve Mnuchin or her advocacy to see the death penalty imposed in the Kevin Cooper case and then it’s crickets.

i remain confused about what is supposed to
be either hilarious or embarrassing (depending on your perspective) about Warren's DNA results.
as i tried to explain once before, given the inherent inaccuracy and imprecision of the test, and the statistical nature of DNA recombination during meiosis, the 1/1024 number being bandied about (i don't actually know where you got that) indicates Warren's most recent Native American ancestor would most likely have been her great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather/mother, plus or minus 1 great. this would place the ancestor's birth somewhere around 1780-1820, which is probably fairly typical for families who have a story about a Native American ancestor (much more recent than that and it wouldn't be a story, it would be someone whose name they still know). a date closer to 1820 fits well with the timetable of the trail of tears.
anyway, it's even more complicated than what i've explained here, and either way, your persistent mockery just makes you look like you don't understand the science.

perhaps you are unaware that the indigenous peoples of mexico and south america are descended from the same group of original asian migrants as those from the US and canada.

Warren claimed that her family lore was that they had Cherokee ancestors (as well as Delaware ancestors, apparently). Her DNA test supports that story -- in fact, the evidence is strong enough that most scientists would probably say that the DNA test confirms native american ancestry, though not of any particular tribe, and that the most recent ancestor would appear in the family tree somewhere near the time of the Trail of Tears.
To put this in perspective, if you have an ancestor who fought in the Revolutionary War, you have almost certainly inherited less DNA from that ancestor than Warren has inherited from her native american forbears. There's a pretty good chance you've inherited none, actually. Nonetheless, I don't think anybody's going to start mocking the members of the DAR on the grounds that they don't have enough DNA from that Revolutionary War ancestor.
Warren's results are exactly what would have been expected, based on the family lore. Whence, then, the ridicule?

(having to do with both the underlying mechanisms of genetics, and the characteristics/nature of the analysis that was done on the sequencing data) I will not "agree to disagree", anymore than I would agree to disagree with someone asserting that the earth is flat. Warren's DNA test result is almost exactly what would have been predicted, based on the story she told and the analysis that was done, and that's just the way it is.
However, I will agree to leave you alone on the matter. I've said all that needs to be said. Henceforth, mock away without my further objection.
