The astounding incompetence of our supposed leaders of the free world are indicative of their total lack of concern for the people they are charged with representing and protecting from harm. It is they themselves that have become the most dangerous to peace and security, not just domestically, but globally as well.

And if we are going to threaten a 70-year relationship with Saudia Arabia, the largest oil producer in the world, why don't we piss on our longtime friends in NATO and all of Europe too?

Russia is showing us we are not so tough here in the Land of the Fee, Home of the Slave (H/T to someone on a recent comment thread).
Their double and triple-down desperation is showing a panic in everything they do. This has gone far beyond the next selection election.

When you consider we are all in this together, young or old, rich or poor. We are all about dollars, whether greenbacks or digital. Our whole life is invested in American dollars.
What would happen if the dollar went the way of the Zimbabwe dollar (One Zimbabwean = .0027631943 US dollar)?
Of course, we little people would find a way to conduct business or survive thru barter or some other medium of value. Maybe silver or gold coins. Or ammo, booze, food, or just plain labor.
But what about the billionaires? Their dollars, digital or cash, would be just as worthless as our own.
Is this why Russia no longer holds US Treasuries?
Is this why Japan, China, and countries around the globe are unloading their US Treasury notes? Is this why Bill Gates is changing his dollars into real estate on a massive scale? Corporations buying back their own stock?
Was their failure to defeat and regime change Russia, along with the resulting pillage and plundering of her vast natural resources, the last chance to hold on to their hegemony?
Is the BRICS, SCO, and EAEU successes with the New Silk Road the final blow to the western billionaire class?
At some point, the US printing presses will have to start cranking out billion-dollar bills.

Yuan, "same" as Renminbi and much easier to pronounce. Renminbi is the official currency, but the Yuan is the base unit of the Renminbi and is often used interchangeably with Renmibi as a result. For an analogy, think of the dollar as the base unit of the PetroDollar or Fiatbuck or somesuch.

I didn't get a wok cooking lesson
when I visited China, but I did get one when in Thailand. If you have an actual wok, it is easy. Where I live, it is hard to find the sauces and necessary ingredients. One day, I might go to a World Food Market and get the stuff, and they may even have a genuine wok.

Kwai is a lot easier, and what I've most often heard
in Mandarin in China, English speakers and signage in English would use Yuan, never RMB.
I'll keep my dollars which are very strong right now. The dollar used to be above 8 rmb but China allowed it to float sometime in the 00s, but the dollar has gained a lot this year, over 10%, I think due to the zero covid policy and also because the US and our economy is looked up on as a haven of stability in troubled times.

This could signal the end of the petro dollar for good. Saudi Arabia has expressed a strong interest in joining BRICS as early as 2023.
It may be that finally, the US empire has overplayed its hand. Our involvement in Ukraine, preventing peace talks and the placement of sanctions that are hurting Europeans ore than Russia, has created a negative backlash among Europeans.
If the Ukraine conflict erupts into a broader war, Europeans have far more to lose than just winter heating.
