Hi!
I joined yesterday when my son turned me on to c99 as we talked about DK silencing viewpoints and voices critical of HRC.
As longtime lurker, I read and learn. I'm not here to argue.
This is a singular election. Bernie in 2016 is the first candidate that I have ever been inspired to support. I have canvassed for Bernie with my wife. My pavlovian response to Bernie's fund raising email is well developed. I have been satisfied to stay informed and vote all my life, but this year demands more. More is at stake and more is possible than I have ever seen.
Perhaps I will have additional entries, if I have something helpful to say about this most unusual election cycle.
Thank you all for maintaining a high-level discussion worthy of adults. In my view political free speech is the most valuable discussion of all.
Go Bernie!

Welcome aboard!
Lurking is fine, more than fine, in fact, and you'll also find that posting a comment here and there is risk-free in these parts. Whatever suits your comfort level. We're glad to see ya.
And yeah, go Bernie.
Welcome!
Always room for more! We have a BIG tent!

Congratulations!
Bernie is the most inspiring candidate I've seen since RFK and Gene McCarthy, back when I was but a sprout. I'm very happy to have lived long enough to see his presidential run, and hope it'll be just the harbinger of many more outstanding liberals and democratic socialists to support. It's wonderful to see that you've gotten so involved! Thanks for your work.
