Hey, Tom! Yeah you, Tom. Price--You're Fired!
Tom Price is no stranger to politics. This means he is a money-grubbing, hypocritical bastard
Please consult my latest essay for some back ground:

And in today's news:
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/29/us/politics/tom-price-trump-hhs.html?mcubz=0
Already in trouble with Mr. Trump for months of unsuccessful efforts to repeal and replace President Barack Obama’s health care program, Mr. Price failed to defuse the president’s anger by offering regret and a partial reimbursement. His departure was the latest from an administration buffeted by turbulence at the top, and capped a week of setbacks for the president.
“I’m not happy, O.K.?” Mr. Trump told reporters who asked about Mr. Price as the president prepared to leave for his New Jersey golf club for the weekend, barely an hour before the resignation was announced. “I can tell you, I’m not happy.” He called Mr. Price “a very good man” but added that the secretary’s offer to pay back the government for just part of the cost of the private flights “would be unacceptable.”
Can the irony possibly be lost on anyone. Price gets fired for using private jets for even short flights. Trump then fires him for this and immediately jets away to his private golf course with us taxpayers footing the bill. Ah, justice, ain't it great?
Bye, bye, Tom. Don't let the door hit you in your wallet.

Good Riddance to the poster child of privitizing Medicare
Price was a strong advocate of overhauling Medicare by changing it from a defined benefit to a defined contribution. Seniors would receive a certain amount of $$ and have to purchase private insurance--true death panels. I always enjoy when an evil person gets the boot.
karl, you're on top of this.
I'll let Adam Sandler and Bob Barker handle this one.

Modern education is little more than toeing the line for the capitalist pigs.
Guerrilla Liberalism won't liberate the US or the world from the iron fist of capital.
Straight out of the Onion? Ought to be.
I read something somewhere just the other day that Trump is thinking about offing his kids - too much controversy.

Haven't the taxpayers
always footed the bill for the president's travel to vacations?
I'm not saying it is right, but in fairness, there is no reason to single out Trump compared to other presidents on this issue.

footing the bill
No. Only since 1968. All this is driven by the security that Congress imposed on the President after the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and his brother Robert during his Presidential campaign.
Since then, Presidents (and Presidential candidates after a certain point in their campaigns) are essentially prisoners of the Secret Service. The ginormous cost to taxpayers for Presidential travels stems from this. Congress created this nightmare, and only Congress can fix it.

Well, 1968 is
Still there is no reason to single out Trump.
But I'm not saying that something should not be done about president's recreational travel.
I guess this is yet another case of dems and repugs going along with each other to allow exorbitant expenses for the other side so that their side can spend excessively, too.
