Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Wednesday said President Trump is “showing weakness” for signing Russia sanctions legislation into law, arguing his action amounts to declaring “a full-fledged economic war” on Moscow.
“The US President's signing of the package of new sanctions against Russia will have a few consequences. First, it ends hopes for improving our relations with the new US administration,” Medvedev wrote in a Facebook post.
“Second, it is a declaration of a full-fledged economic war on Russia. Third, the Trump administration has shown its total weakness by handing over executive power to Congress in the most humiliating way. This changes the power balance in US political circles.”
I don't care about your Drumpf opinion. But Fg Medeved is right on in his 3rd assessment.

Then again Trump attempts to continue in the progression of Executive Overreach going on for years in opposition to the milk toasts in Congress that somehow don't exercise their perogatives but somehow like it when they can do nothing and then cry about that Potus mfr. I do think it is hard to make the neo-anything moniker stick. It's such a trite, pointy headed liberal prefix. Such a bummer too. It should be a no-brainer prefix that leads to the proper conclusion.
Given that nobody really can define Conservative or Liberal, tacking on the neo just makes it almost nonsensical.
I think we really do need to come up with something a bit more visceral and self explanatory.

Congress and the Executive Branch were set up as co-equal branches of government. Congress can pass legislation. The president can either sign the legislation into law or veto it. So here's the skinny in Pseudocode:
Congress votes overwhelmingly to write Russia sanctions into law.
I think this would have worked out differently in Vlad Putin's government, no?
