Twenty-nine years ago ... this picture was taken at our wedding reception. We held it outdoors at Rattlesnake Springs, Texas ... the water source for Carlsbad Caverns National Park. [That's me with my still shaking hand on my son's shoulder. His step-mom holds her bridal bouquet to my left.]

Our "child" will be 7 weeks old next week. We will be offially adopting her on July 20th.
... that I neglected to pick up a Trader Joe's anniversary card for my sweetie. Glad I had the foresight to book a romantic dinner table at Volare Italian ristorante on Frankfort Avenue in Louisville for our special night ... think it's been 29 years.
Martha remains my dream lover.
