Mama and baby are well. I’m celebrating my daughter’s first child and my first grandchild.

The cake above was baked by my wonderful neighbour in honour of her birth.

Congratulation to mommy, granny and baby girl. I remember the first half-smile of my son after he was born ... I guess these are images that are burned into your consciousness.

I wanna a photo of her. May be next time you host?

These images are the most precious ones.

A part of me would like to share a photo of the lovely ones, but I don't feel comfortable to in a public space.

I am very happy and so deeply moved by the feelings I experience.

to stay away to post images of my family or loved ones in such public spaces like this one. But after I am gone for good, I have something prepared to share. I guess my son would have been to be gone too, to publish it. But then there is no one left to do it. I guess that's good, after all.

Give a tickle to the feet of your little one from me and just be happy to have such a lovely family.

PS As always I fall asleep over the laptop while being logged in and when I wake up it is way too late to respond.

As you have suggested, I somehow think it may also be fine to have certain experiences that we take with us alone at the end. It can provide comfort. We're lucky to have these cherished memories, even when tinged with sadness.

Granddaughters are such a delight. They steal your whole heart in a way I never knew was possible.

I can't figure out how to post photos with my phone or I'd show off my little sweetie.
