on our garage(?). She's finally become used to us using the garage on a daily basis, but she still gives me sharp rebukes if I spend too much time on the driveway.
Oscar likes to sit on the porch and watch his local world. He's slowing down noticeably, but still loving the sardines. Definitely an old pensioner cat now.
Is that a Monarch butterfly in the last shot?
Spending a lot of time with Miles in the garden until we can't. The best of days.
@Bollox Ref
They overwinter here and some don't make it. I find them in the yard. Once, on a whim, one was still alive and I feed it honey water and it revived.

Here are some of my photos from Big Day. Lots of ducklings and goslings, and more wood ducks. I looked for warblers and other small birds in the trees but they move too fast for me. Hoping to find more lifers tomorrow out at Antelope Island.
Not sure what kind of butterfly this is but I think it's a painted lady.
@Daenerys
I didn't realize that wood ducks are that big. I've only seen them when they are in the water.
It was nice meeting you and your husband last weekend.
Have fun at the island. I haven't been out there for years.

Hubby is coming down with something. FIL was supposed to drive us but then he decided he didn't want to risk getting sick too. Oh well. We've been out there a couple times but didn't see much of anything except a couple of meadowlarks. We might try another place we haven't been to yet that's free.

Heritage Park San Diego
These are homes that were built in various areas around San Diego in the 1880s and 90s. and moved to Heritage park in the 1970s.
I'm great at multi-tasking. I can waste time, be unproductive, and procrastinate all at the same time.
Are they lived in?

Hi Bollox Ref
No, the houses are not lived in. The houses have been restored on the exterior only and are not open to the public.
