Florida GOP Calling Out Ballot Fraud in Broward County Already...

Apologies if this has been reported already, but I couldn't make it come up on the search here....

The Republican Party of Florida is accusing election officials of voter fraud in a key county, Adam Shapiro reported on Shepard Smith Reporting. The state GOP alleges that officials in Broward County, which includes Fort Lauderdale, have been opening tens of thousands of vote-by-mail ballots prior to them being cleared for counting.

How the hell can we verify our elections? This is ridiculous...

Ingoglia said none of the ballots had been approved, so the party will be filing a lawsuit at 9 a.m. ET Thursday if county officials do not respond to his complaint by close-of-business on Wednesday.

No word if this has happened yet. I couldn't get near the original link--Insider Fox News, just so you know--I figured at first it was traffic-related, but then I went through a proxy and got to it right away. It sat for about five minutes and then the page refreshed and it morphed into an ad for "FOX Election Night coverage". When I reloaded it again, I figured out how to keep it open long enough to copy some of the text over. Very strange, all the way around, starting with "Holy crap, did losing Roger Ailes allow FOX employees to actually start reporting news??" Keep that in mind, and take it all with a grain of salt #JustSayin.

Stay tuned, if I can find a link to the lawsuit actually being filed, I'll update here...

switching Clinton votes to Trump (or is it Putin?).

NAACP and the DOJ were trying to get an injunction yesterday against the N. C. voter purge (and this does sound horrific what the Rs have done there).

I think both sides are developing as many possible objections to the validity of elections in key states as they can. The loser will have a whole list of challenges. Some will be quite valid. Others might not be so compelling.

I don't expect any concession speech within 24 hours of the close of voting.

in the Florida general (Yeah, I know, I really went out on a limb with that one, lol!)

I didn't expect it to start coming out to after the actual election though.

The "Democrats" really are not as good at rigging shit against someone else with experience.

They got lucky with Sanders.

With Trump and the RNC? Not likely.

They don't play as nice as we do, and they have lots of practice doing this shit as well so they already know what to look for.

"I used to vote Republican & Democrat, I also used to shit my pants. Eventually I got smart enough to stop doing both things." -Me

machine flipped to the Rep 4 times. He got the official, told her how he wanted to vote, and the machine finally accepted the Dem.

I don't know if I would have noticed. Vote theft is what it is.

I recently saw a video of this that someone took while trying to vote. She would touch the square for the Dem, and the R square would get an X. Did it a few times in a row. Sure looked real to me.

The programmer can make the icons all the same size but make the 'hit spot', any size --- say 200px for R and 5px way up in the corner for D. It's a crappy system. They should be able to find that bit of chicanery easily if they look at the source code.

that went into lengthy detail on exactly what you are pointing out. My whole theory in the diary was that you don't have to steal their voter, you just need to help them make a mistake!

And you are so right! Just a quick look at the source code would give that away in few minutes. Oh wait? The source code is considered proprietary information of the vendor and no one is allowed to see it. How they get away with that is beyond me. Those machines should be piled up all together and burned.

the gooferment gives away such license. It's pretty easy bit of coding so why the proprietary part? Half the first year college computers science majors could write it. Heck. Any number of high school kids could write it.

The description in the essay would be election fraud rather than voter fraud. The voters didn't do anything wrong. (Sounds like ignorance, or perhaps a time saving measure, to not verify the ballots before opening.)

For our mail in ballots in CO, you sign the outside of the mailing envelope. It has your name and address typed on it. They are supposed to verify your signature against their records, and then open the envelope. Your actual ballot inside is in a "privacy sleeve" so supposedly they won't look and can't see how you actually voted. The ballot and the sleeve get separated from the mailing envelope with your name. Then the ballots are counted.

In the essay case, if they do it like the above, if they now find any envelopes with invalid signatures, there would be no way to know which ballot it went to, and which ballot to invalidate.

OLinda! I called it "Ballot Fraud", but I see where the first sentence in the linked report calls it "voter fraud".

I honestly think they do that intentionally, and it's so wrong--as you note, the voters didn't do anything wrong, at all. It makes me nuts...

Imagine that there was agreement between conspiratorial partners that they'd mail invalid ballots, knowing that the partner on the 'counting end' would open the envelopes without confirming the validity of the voter's name and signature.

It's pretty clear from the primaries that there are precinct workers who are more than willing to cheat to help their favored candidate.

I'm sure I'm just being paranoid, right?

The side which is able to steal the most votes is going to win.

When our likeliest victor in this farce is either the Sexist Bully Fraud or the Pay-For-Play Queen of Mean, does it really matter who is going to take office? Both are going to screw this nation horribly, and possibly beyond reclamation.

If the militias now threatening to wage war if their bozo loses are to be believed, there could evolve a de facto division of the nation into fragments of its former self. It would almost be poetic justice for the neocon corporatists to have to try to squeeze profit out of a devastated nation where civilization has broken down and there is no meaningful commerce being undertaken.

I'd eat a warehouse load of popcorn watching that two-ring circus performing!
