Fareed Zakaria Rattled By The Left

Fareed Zakaria was a good analyst at the old Newsweek, but not so good on tv. I don't watch his show, but decided to see what he was going to talk about yesterday. He started with a rant about the left, for their attack on him after he expressed support for Trump's bombing spree. I don't know if any of you were involved, it looked like you got under his skin.

News.

He was a main cheerleader for war and has done more than his fair share of propping up corporate sponsored public policy.

He should be afraid of the Left, he ain't got no friends over here.

@k9disc I don't have TV (Freedom!) but I was over at a friend's home months ago and saw Zakaria on CNN (a very fitting coupling). Zakaria, with his expensive suit and elitist accent, was spouting how the "hollowing out" of the middle class world-wide was a phenomenon as natural as the moon circling the art. He didn't tell the viewers that this was an intended result of the 1% to squeeze more money out off the population, reducing half our country to poverty.

A self-described secular Moslem from Mumbai, India, Zakaria was educated in Mumbai and then in the US. His claim to fame is having been appointed editor of the Voice of the Foreign Policy Establishment journal Foreign Affairs while still in his late 20s. In other words, a tool of the corporatacracy, or of a faction of it.

As far as I am aware, he has no notable accomplishments to his name, no important books published, no original research, a distinction he shares with most of the neocon faction.
